I feel like everything after classic Sonic games, every all game is just a really long and stupid story of Sonic trying find where his ADHD meds went in the Mail

Like in the Adventure Games, he got meds from a descent brand that stopped his insanity but it didn’t totally tranquillise him

But after like Sonic 06, he got Tails to order a new batch, but Amazon lost his order or something and when Tails asked him what brand it was again, Sonic just blanks out

And so for next decade or so, Sonic hopped through at least 12 brands of ADHD meds and it resulted in something completely different for his personality every time

Sonic Unleashed meds? Eh, those were okay, almost right. Just a little bit extra goofy tho

Sonic Colours? Uh oh, he’s getting a little too silly

Sonic Lost World…oh dear he’s unhinged

Sonic was not on meds at all during Forces; the pharmacies were destroyed

And then, finally, Tails found Sonic’s old prescription paperwork from like 1990 and found the original meds he took

And Sonic is all back to normal in Frontiers 😭

It only took 20 years.

I haven’t posted on AO3 in months. Boy do I have a treat in the works now.
