he's suddenly more empathetic, caring, and has a velvety tone to his voice, as if he sounds tired, but is trying to be gentle with his words. that silent but loud glimmer in his eyes that says "i am so in love with this fatass guy and i have little to no idea why" every time he rests his eyes on his beloved. that urge to just launch himself at him and kiss and hug the soul out of him even when he's doing literally fucking nothing because he's just that fucking cute

slumps over mario, hands wrapped tightly around him like a live blanket "sorry for being so mean today. i didn't mean it, i swear," he says in a soft, loving tone. he rubs his face against mario's cheek gently, like that of an affectionate cat. his eyes are closed and sleepy.
