“You’re done? Where is the son that wanted to avenge his mother with me? Where the hell did he go?” My father asked, rising to his feet and dusting himself off as if nothing happened.

“I opened my eyes…I learned the truth.”

“The truth? Tell me what that truth is.” He said, taking a step towards me, trying to intimidate me.

I held my ground, my fire still burning as I stared into his eyes, “Zeus has been running things from the beginning, Y/N’s parents were just under orders, they couldn’t-”

“Under orders? You think I don’t know how Zeus has been standing behind the scenes this whole time? But they’re not the ones that killed your mother, that girl’s parents took her from me, from us, just because she was different.” He said through clenched teeth.

“W-What?” I asked, stuttering as I unconsciously dimmed my fire.

“She was chosen by our god, Hephaestus had blessed her…and they killed her. So now I won’t rest until that whole family and entire faction are reduced to nothing but ashes.” He said, his eyes dark, his flames engulfing his hands.
