honestly gerard wearing skirts and dresses is like the most genuinely amazing thing ever. like everybody talks about it which is good but I feel like nobody talks about how the outfits he wear are making statements on sexism and feminism and oppression etc

this is probably controversial in the mcr fandom but I think it's crazy that people sexualize him wearing dresses and skirts. like the whole point of these outfits are to show how these kinds of outfits are hypersexualized especially when men wear them.

like it's not socially ingrained or considered normal when men wear this stuff, and he's making a point that is SHOULD be normal. people sexualizing him wearing this kind of stuff is just proving the point that women or anything feminine is hypersexualized.

like, he's not getting called a faggot for doing any of this which is good but he's being sexualized for doing things that women usually do. it just shows that people just see sex appeal in feminine things.

Can we just talk about how fucking IMMACULATE Foundations is?? It’s like the perfect MCR song combining the intense guitars and breakdowns of Bullets and Three Cheers, the dark themes of rot and death from The Black Parade, the synths and production quality of Danger Days and the energy of Conventional Weapons to just create an absolute masterpiece which perfectly encapsulates their entire career both with its sound and its lyricism discussing much of the bands history and legacy

If MCR5 sounds anything like this it will be without a doubt one of the greatest albums of all time

And if there is no MCR5 Foundations is a perfect send off to their career

Bullets is in the closet, danger days and revenge are obviously out of the closet, and the black parade doesn’t even know anymore
