What does Evan Afton feel about being the Phantom Stitch wraith?

Not sure if any evidence besides the crossword puzzle thing has come out, but I still don’t buy Evan’s an Afton, at least right now. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

But Evan is indifferent to it. He found it a bit weird at first but he was quickly overtaken with worry for Jake and Andrew that it slip his mind. He does find being a phantom useful, makes it more easier to track items without being stuck or caught or hurt. He probably hopes to move onto the afterlife one day, but he isn’t leaving without the others. And they aren’t leaving until this story of agony is over
