You people all lied about The Poughkeepsie Tapes being good. I'd say about the first quarter of it was good, then the rest steadily got worse and worse until it just sort of ended.

It was the most basic edgelord shock value shit made by someone who obviously believes the cultural mythos of the Super Genius Serial Killer. The sheer logical hoops it had to jump through to make any of the hole-filled plot work relied entirely on a complete ignorance of police/legal procedure. Plus, I'm sorry but the plot relied on every single character except for Super Special Killer Boy being a total idiot.

A lot of fuss has been made about the torture scenes, but how did you people not literally laugh out loud every time the killer appeared in another stupid little costume? The rest with the whole Master/Slave thing was like the director scrolled through the BDSM tag on a porn site, picked the most basic bitch roleplay fantasy that looked the weirdest (with the mask), and thought "omg i'm sooooooo dark and edgy for including this ♡♡♡". It's just playing at darkness for girls rebelling against their Christian parents by pretending to be so evil and scawwy. Awww, you think the killer was hot and you want to be his slave?
