Zaman also had interesting insight into his character, Armand, a 500 year old Vampire still very much behaving in many ways like an angry teenager. Asked if he saw his character as, essentially, a child pretending to be a grownup, Zaman told TheWrap, “I think that’s ultimately what we were kind of going for. And what I didn’t realize is, I think that’s kind of what living in my life as an actor for 10 years is like.”

If Louis' words about not giving up on journalism is what made Daniel stick to it, could it be that Armand's "a woman in the mould of your mother" speech is partially responsible for Daniel's comphet "I slept with men for drugs in the 70s, not because I like men"? He doesn't remember those words for those 50 years but it seems like something.
Right, I did say the Armand one was almost finished, so here it is. He looks so rough in this scene. I don't know why I keep picking the most difficult moment to paint, but whatever, I'm still happy with the result.
Hopefully will do either young Daniel or Claudia or Madeline next. Don't know when that will be though, I haven't started it yet.
