Tangled fandom, I need help!

I'm working on a Varian drawing but I'm stumped on the pose. I thought I would reference something from the series, so if you have any suggestions for iconic, full-body poses of Varian from the show, please send them! If I end up using your idea, I'll credit you for the help :D

ok but I respect the moth look, you know why? cause it's very colour-coordinated.

The way the cape matches the skintone, same with the hair and tunic almost. I remember thinking when I started the game that I almost preferred my "dull" outfit over one with more / different colours because it looked like it all went together.

Is that to say I'm not happy that now I can wear my actual favourite colours? Of course not, I just think TGC did a really good job designing the default look <3

I like to think that when it came to following Edmund's orders, the Brotherhood can be put into three categories: positive, negative and neutral.

Hector is positive because he followed them to the letter - he did everything in his power to stop anyone from reaching the Dark Kingdom.

Adira is negative because she actively disobeyed by helping Rapunzel get to the Moonstone.

Quirin is neutral since he gave up being a knight to settle down and have a family, so he wasn't actively affecting the situation one way or another. The one exception to this was when he warned King Frederick about the dangers of uprooting the Sundrop flower.

And yet, in their own ways, they were all still upholding their oath: to protect the world from the destructive powers of the moonstone.

Moonstone exposure being passed down has been my theory for awhile too!! In my version though, it's not the blast that caused it but just Quirin living near the stone for a long time. I base this on the fact that Adira and Hector also display unconventional physical traits: Hector's yellow eyes and Adira's white hair (despite her not being very old). Like OP said, I don't think this makes any of them magical, they've just been affected by it.

Edit: I also fully accept that it could just be hair dye, Lady Caine's hair supports the idea that hair dye exists on Tangled its just not common. I just think this pseudo moon theory is fun ^^

But I wanna know why that may be in-universe

And I think it *could* be connected to the moonstone

NOW NOW NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG, I don't think Varian has any magical abilities related to the moonstone, in fact I don't really think he himself is connected cause canonically- he's not. BUT, Quirin was part of the brotherhood, and he was there when the moonstone blast happened, so I like to think that maybe it may of passed on genetically and could have messed with the pigment of Varian's hair

Mini Prediction for Sky: The Two Embers!

We know Winged Lights have been referred to as "imprints of the Children of Light", implying its where skykids like us have traveled before. However, some theorists believe they also represent the Prince/King's light since we meet one in the void of Eden too.

So wouldn't it be cool if, throughout the animated series, we saw the Prince / the Dawn Ember visit places where Winged Lights are? Not all of them, of course, but just a few as a nice nod to this idea about the game c:

Since this has been getting some attention, here's a fun fact: the background of the drawing is a (filtered) photo of my physical copy of the Storybook of Legends! Here it is along with my live model who I consulted whenever screenshots weren't enough <3

I read the first Ever After High novel and I really love how much emphasis they put on music, especially Raven's love for it 💜 If they ever do a reboot, I think it should be a musical 🎶
