Exorsexism - Tumblr Posts
when people use “he or she” instead of “they”
(as an example: “if someone needs help with anything, he or she should find an adult”)
this is exorsexism.
they wanna please conservatives so bad...but like did they forget that conservatives still want them to die?
binary trans people saying asking for pronouns is bad is already bad enough but i'm seeing an increasing amount of binary trans people now saying just sharing pronouns is bad too? like what are us enbies supposed to do? just put up with being misgendered 24/7?
this is exorsexism.
am i the only one that never gets what people mean by non-men? like do you mean any gender beside binary men? or are partially men people(like demiboys, paraboys, boyfluxs) also included in "non-men"? like i genuinely have a hard time understanding what people mean by non-men and non-women 😭😭😭
men and non-men as just another attempt to create a binary
this is exorsexism.
This hellsite is not ready for this but no group of trans people has it worse than another.
Trans men do not have it worse than trans women. Trans women do not have it worse than trans men. Binary people do not struggle worse than nonbinary people and vice versa.
Oppression takes on many different forms but that does not make one group's problems greater or worse than another. At the end of the day we're all fucking trans and the political right wants every one of us to be cis (as our assigned at birth genders) or dead.

how is "women+" any different from "women*" or "womxn" or the many other variations of this? why come up with yet another term to forcibly include us in IWD and womanhood as a whole? if it's truly inclusive of nonbinary people, why still only call women by name? if it's about "anyone who doesn't identify as a man", why not just say that instead of centring women? and if it's supposed to include nonbinary people but not people who identify as men, what about nonbinary men?
also, if i see "women+" in the wild, how am i supposed to know who it's meant to include? like women* or womxn, it's very vague and unclear whether it's meant to include women and nonbinary people, women and all trans people, anyone oppressed by the patriarchy, or, like i've seen womxn or women* used before, anyone with a uterus. whichever option it is, it's forcing a lot of trans people back into womanhood and misgendering us.
"women+" doesn't make sense the way LGBTQ+ does. "women" is a single group of people, and it doesn't follow a pattern so we can determine who is included in the +. LGBTQ+ follows a pattern of listing genders and orientations that are rejected by cisheteronormativity, it's obvious to most people who is included in the +. then there's also terms like bi+, which includes bi people and people with similar orientations, i.e. anyone else attracted to multiple genders. if we applied that logic to women+, it would include anyone else with similar genders, basically still calling all nonbinary people women-lite.
apparently saying "nonbinary people aren't women lite" is no longer enough, we also need to start saying "we're not women plus" too.
Would it kill you people to acknowledge non-binary and genderqueer people?
Would it kill you to remember that the terms transmasculine and transfeminine are not synonymous with binary trans men and binary trans women?
Would it kill you to remember that there are those who are not transmasculine and face the same issues as transmasculine people and that there are those who are not transfeminine but face the same issues as transfeminine people?
Would it kill you to add even a token acknowledgment of non-binary and genderqueer people when you talk about trans issues in a needlessly and harmfully binary way?
Would it fucking kill you to stop and think about us for a single moment?
