I don't get this?

Why is Gucci so luxury but something people spend hours making not?? Like Gucci you don't NEED and same with gear. Yes both are nice to have but you aren't gonna like keel over and DIE without them

Some gear is out of my price range, guess what? I made my own! I don't have the money right now to spend a hundred on a mask but I'm not gonna tell people to lower their prices on their handmade stuff just because I'm a broke bitch.

If you think it's too expensive just don't buy it. Simple.

Not everything should be a luxury.

Shit like Gucci or Prada or other designer shit or shit like a yacht or an all diamond bracelet *thats* a luxury.

A house should not be a luxury, neither should a car neither should good tasting food.

Neither should good quality gear.

And yall would argue “well you get what you pay for” and that’s one of the stupidest mindsets ever. Like why do I have to bend over backwards and bust my balls to get good quality items that boost my self expression.

And yall would argue “well good materials cost so much more than that” so you’re gonna continue the cycle and be like “well I spent $200 on supplies so im gonna sell this for $400” when its worth $50-$75. Not sorry but I have yet to see a mask that I would spend over $100. Just because you spent a lot on materials don’t mean they’re suddenly made out of the sturdiest diamonds in the world. It’s just good quality cardboard/faux fur/felt/elastic/etc at the end of the day.

Sure you painted it and put it together and made it look nice and yeah that does take some level of skill and time. But you’re charging *too* *much*

Also yall equating “luxury” to “need”

Sure you dont *need* gear but that doesn’t make it a luxury.
