important update regarding the harry is louis’ baby fic fest!!!
as of right now, the fest has very few writers signed up and no betas signed up, so acknowledging that things have been a bit hectic within the fandom these past few weeks, i wanted to make a post to see if there’s a preference on these three potential deadline options. unfortunately, you can’t make polls on tumblr, so this will have to do instead.
if you’re interested in signing up for the fest, would you prefer:
A) the sign up deadlines stay as is – january 7th for writers & january 24th for betas
B) extend the writer & beta sign up deadlines by a month (the new deadlines would be february 7th for writers & february 24th for betas)
C) change it up entirely so that instead of having a deadline, this fest will be ongoing. writers will still have to sign up to participate, but there will be no deadline for sign ups or for posting the fics to the collection. you will be able to post the fic to the collection whenever you are ready to do so. prompt submissions will reopen & stay open so people can submit a prompt whenever they’d like. betas would still have a deadline so that a list of available betas can be made & be available for writers, but the deadline to sign up to be a beta can be extended!
