God my favorite kind of Mishanks is when they’ve known each other for yeaaars and I mean pre louge town years.

Like I knew you back when you were a weirdly intense brat with otherworldly eyes and exponential talent who was so bad at making anything other than enemies and I was nothing but the soon to be pirate king’s brat.

And look at us now! The captains dead, I don’t wear his hat anymore, my arms gone and there is a figure on the horizon.

I am so much more than just Roger’s brat now.

I knew you when we were young! And nothings the same anymore.

And you are still a weirdly intense brat with otherworldly eyes and exponential talent who is terrible at making anything other than enemies.

But you are also just a husk of that boy, you don’t have his passion, his fire. You have everything he wanted ! You sit at the top and you’ve buried yourself in the loneliness.

And you won’t even look at me.
