I Would Make This - Tumblr Posts

My contribution to Threshold Day!
I wanted to make something with felt scraps I had from other projects, and not buy anything new. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! All of the thread (except the orange) is satin so it’s nice and shimmery. I wish the purple showed up better in photos, though.
I know this is something extremely different from my usual content, but hear me out: A Manhwa about a girl who gets abandoned by the hero’s party. But instead of gaining a new party and becoming better hero’s then the actual hero’s, she becomes a maid for a high achieving saintess who she may or may not have a relationship with and may or may not be a simp for.
So basically, it begins when this girl(who I’m gonna call Korue) goes to some kind of magic academy. Korue was raised by a family who didn’t abuse her, they just didn’t acknowledge she existed and payed more attention to her older brother. She’s is also really weak though, but she’s really good at cooking and house chores. One day when she’s 12, one of her friends(who kinda treats her like a servant) in her friend group is chosen to be the heroin to stop some evil, I don’t know. So her friend brings her and the rest of their friends(who also kinda treat her like a servant) go on a quest to get stronger so they can beat the bad guy or something. But since Korue is weak and isn’t showing any improvement, they abandoned her at an inn while she was sleeping. When Korou wakes up and tries to find her team, she ends up getting into some trouble with some kidnappers, but is then saved by a girl her age. The girl who saved her turns out to be Ariko, a girl who despite her age was appointed Saintess by some church or organization. There are rumors that Ariko goes trough extreme length making sure someone gets their karma; such as beating some one up, reverse gaslighting(which means she gaslights the person who caused harmed on others), making people cry, stealing important papers that reveal awful truths, pulling out money from corrupt business owners. But since Ariko is practically a saint, people dismiss those ideas. But Korue learns those rumors are true. Ariko brings Korue to her house(mansion), which is in the Country side near her place of work, to rest for a few days. While staying, Korue learns that while Ariko is a girl that will one day be no doubt the greatest women in the business and saintess world, Ariko sucks at cooking and cleaning cause she’s busy with being a saintess. She doesn’t have maids cause she just doesn’t have any. So while staying there, Korue cleans and cooks for Ariko to repay her back. Ariko of course compliments her cute guest, but says she doesn’t have to do any of this, and Korue almost crys cause Ariko is the only person in a very long time that ever genuinely cared about her. The two become very close over the days. It ends up with Korue flat out asking Ariko if she could be a maid for the saintess, cause at this point Korue is a simp for Ariko. Ariko first declines cause she wants Korue to be her own free person. But after some persistence on Korues part, Ariko agrees but only if Korue also takes her of her self. That’s how Korue became a maid for Ariko. Over the years, Korue becomes the best maid(housewife) there ever is. She makes friends with Arikos co workers and the villagers of the town they live in. Korue even takes in a 12 year old girl that reminds her of herself at that age as her intern. The girl, who’s name is Emily, was found in the forest by Korue. Emily ran away from her family after she couldn’t take their negligence no more. Korue also gets stronger in strength and Skill cause being a maid isn’t easy, especially when you have to move stuff to clean the tough spaces. It gets to the point where Korue is stronger then the hero’s team. But instead of going back to them or making a new party, she stays with Ariko cause her lady truly cares for her, and also cause she’s a simp for her lady and she’s finally happy.
