saw some people over on twt reading neil's reaction to jean comparing grayson to drake as anger at jean and that didn't even cross my mind. I saw it as recognition of a threat to one of the people he cares about, a situation he thought had been dealt with only to happen again to another person in his selective circle. he obviously doesn't know the extent of what happened to jean in the nest, his own experience a blur of hurt and confusion, but at the moment he decides he's going to deal with it the best way he knows how.
