So I started the interview with a vampire book so I could compete and contract it with the movie (im not that far into the book yet) and I can’t get over the fact that Lestat is constinly geting called stupid in the most calm way posible by Louis and IM NOT EVEN THAT FAR INTO THE BOOK YET, its so funny and for what!?!

Guys i haven’t read the books yet But is Lestat actually gay? From everything i’m seeing it seems that Anne Rice portrays vampires as beings that don’t conform to that. Like they’re beyond gender in a sense? I don’t know. I see that but then when i see the fandom they say that it’s a gay relationship but then that’s taking away from the author’s interpretation of vampires. I’m not entirely sure 😭. And i mean the original books not the 2022 series

Why does the queen of the damned movie adaptation get so much hate? I understand it’s not exactly accurate to the books but on its own it’s a good movie. Though nu metal isn’t for everyone I think it has a very good soundtrack and is very aesthetically pleasing. I do wish that they didn’t make him choose jesse at the end because it felt very unnatural but other than that I have no complaints. The style in that movie is great and it’s all very pretty and the music is amazing. I also love the casting. Even if it’s not book accurate, Stuart Townsend looks SO GOOD in queen of the damned. Is all the hatred rooted in it not being accurate to the original book? Or is there something else?
