Tries his best to ignore you in the beginning because he's just so completely flustered

Fugo tends to overwork himself as a coping mechanism, so, in order to get him to take breaks Buccerrati will give him books of math puzzles to do (like sudoku or those ones that are basically algebra with pictures instead of letters) and he doesn't get to continue working until he finishes them.

im concerned with how Melone touches Fugo
ok so you guys know how fugo is like. from a rich family. like no matter who you ask his backstory is that he was a rich kid and then he got kicked out of his family for getting too silly.
but like if his family is really influential why doesn't anyone seem to be taken aback by his last name?why does no one care? he literally goes by it all the time. you would think people would be a little surprised that the son of a rich family is part of a gang
therefore i think either one of two things is true:
1. literally everyone and their mother heard about him being disowned by his family (oof) (also feels unlikely) (i can't imagine parents that seemed to care so much about their image would allow such bad publicity to be spread)
2. "fugo" isn't his family name- he made it up as a way to distance himself from his previous life (interesting for many reasons) (but mainly because one wonders what his actual surname was)
anyway if i'm wrong fugo fans please come tell me id be thrilled to meet someone more insane about him than I am

i was gonna say "but wouldn't fugo have recognized sale?? and how did three members of this family wind up in the same mafia? did they all get kicked out?" but then it occurred to me that
1. fugo might not have been close with his brothers (maybe there was a big age gap)
2. i'm not certain fugo ever saw sale (and he definitely didn't interact with squalo)
3. it's hilarious to imagine the Fugos being such ass parents that every single one of their kids that left/got kicked out became a gang member
4. it makes sense that Fugo's parents put a lot of pressure on him because they'd already been through multiple "failure" kids before and wanted this one to be the perfect one

The mere fact that I used to hate on Fugo from part 5 is funny cause I use to think he was bugging out for the littlest things…I now understand the pathetic wet cat he is, he just bumped up a few points in my book, case in point, I’m gonna traumatize then heal him-
These are parts from my most recent fic on a03 and I feel like I snapped a little hard on this but just know Doppio got Fugo his family again:
"Don't you want that Fugo? Don't you want Narancia again? Don't you want the fun times of being with your team as you all function like a little family? Don't you want to fucking snuff out Giorno for ruining that?" Doppio's smile was so wrong, like the skin around her face stretching oddly as she grabbed his face, leaning over the taller boy and yanked his face close to her breasts.
How Fugo could smell her sweet perfume and feel the warmth coming from her body as her hands held his head close to her as she shrieked with laughter. Her hair framed her face nicely and despite the insanity swirling in her gaze, she still held such an air of hypnotic beauty while his cut off words were muffled against her ample chest.
The gleam in Doppio's eyes made Fugo sweat all over while he stared up at her, feeling so raw and exposed as she gripped his face a little bit more, screaming at the strawberry blonde to make his choice. "Come on, come on! Tell me your answer! Say what you desire most! Show me your will to live, Pannacotta Fugooooo!"
Fugo's vision went dark and Doppio smiled more as she got her answer, knowing what was going to happen soon enough. Even more so when Fugo mistook Doppio for Narancia, the same bright innocent personality and bright sun like smile is what they shared.
Even as Doppio stood underneath the moon, looking like an angel and Fugo's eyes widen when he imagined pink hair as black and hazel eyes as amethyst. Fugo cried when feeling hands on his face, noting it wasn't Narancia but Doppio, who smiled at him as she yanked him close.

Fugo looked up as Doppio hugged his face to her soft breasts, kneeling while she held him close, like a mother comforting her child. She gave the strawberry blonde a gentle smile and spoke lightly, almost like a whisper but her eyes...were so empty as she gently rubbed his bottom lip with her thumb. "Your heart is yours alone."
To Fugo, Doppio is his savior, a beautiful soul, even though originally he didn't believe her, thinking she was a liar.but whenever the darknesses would overlap, he would hallucinate Doppio for Naranica.
They were both so precious and beautiful to him, pieces of art, of fine marble statues to him. When the pinkette told him of how she could fix his empty heart, he agreed so quickly.
Doppio whispers softly in his ear, cupping his face gently, almost lovingly and Fugo can't help but see the love in her face that reminds him so much of Narancia. "Let me take it all away."
The pinkette is the ruler of his heart, to Fugo, she is forever beautiful and he would gladly make her his god if she can give him everything again...
It's quiet, so quiet that you can hear a pin drop and even one's heartbeat...then a loud, viscous scream rangs into the air and it's no longer quiet, it's loud and aggressive.

I’ve been gone for a hot minute and this is the first thing I post lmao. Anyways, I’m looking for this narancia x fugo fic that I read awhile back. I loosely remember it being about Narancia getting injured and fugo looking after him/nursing him back to health?? It ends up with fugo confessing his feelings to Narancia and I remember his dialogue saying something along the lines of “I want to open your rib cage and lay next to your heart.” To which narancia responded with “I think my ribs would be too small for you to crawl into.” I’m pretty sure it was on Ao3 but I cannot find it for the life of me 😭if anyone else knows this fic please let a bitch know
