Is the reason men go insane trying to comprehend things that cannot be comprehended like Cthulhu is because of pride?
We can only describe what they aren't, because we can only comprehend what we know, so we try to place everything we know in its place, only for us to realize that we cannot. Is that what makes us truly mad? Is it not the monster it self, but the pride within us that refuses to accept the fact that we cannot understand a being. Is that what drives man mad? Not the fact that a monster looks like what it does, but out inability to comprehend it, and then our inability to accept that we can't?

STORY OF MY LIFE. I didn't recall Harry Potter locking me under the Invisibility Cloak, but that's what happens to me. The majority of my fellow artists don't notice or deliberately ignore my stuff - it may not be amazing, but after so much effort and dedication I don't think it sucks so bad. I almost had to beg them, which I'm deeply ashamed of - I have my damn pride after all.
So, peace. I don't even care anymore. I love drawing. I have a few AMAZING friends here, and that's what really counts to me :)
