i was told to write smth with melvin sneedly in it
this is going to be very, very hard or incredibly easy no inbetween
crossover with him and bill was suggested so here we go i guess
Now, Melvin was aware of his intelligence. How could he not be? He was capable of creating powerful technologies, as evidenced by several of the inventions he, well, invented.
But this being before him knew more than that. No, he didn’t seem like a techwhiz or nerd. Let alone smart in the ways of Earth’s trivial mechanical desires. He knew things beyond such a small horizon.
Upon meeting the beast, he had many questions. Anything he asked it only spawned more curiosity. When asked what it was, the creature said, “A dream demon, a being of miserable origins in a 2D world!” Immediately, that sparked another question; what did they mean by ‘2D’? Melvin wanted to press on, but feared the demon enough to stay silent.
So, he thought to himself. He theorized. What could this creature’s goal be? Its reason for manifesting within his mind? Where is he really from?
Soon enough, Melvin had himself a vague understanding of the demon, just through assumption. A triangular monster, with hat, cane, and bowtie. A voice that echoes eerily, one holding power deep within. An eye, singular and centered, with a slit for a pupil.
The beast wasn’t simply a creature. Clearly, it couldn’t be, if it was so self aware. And Melvin was right.
This he knew through searching up anything and everything with a similar description. This..being had been around. Entangled in messes previously thought inexplicable. Some sort of..higher power in the background. He was starting to understand more about the demon.
This demon, who called itself Bill Cipher.

Harold: So, we haven't seen Melvin for a while and we're thinking he got kidnapped by some villain.
George: Yeah! Mostly because he never skips school! I really don't know how he doesn't get bored of this place!

*Flashback*
Melvin: Are you helping these clowns publish their comics?!?
Edward: Yeah? Because this school is boring.
Melvin: Well, since you have broken one of the most important rules in this school. That is: Never help ANY of the students that are trying to provide joy, I am going to-
*Edward then jumps up and kicks Melvin in the face*
Edward: Hell no, I am not getting fired from this job.
