Donate clothes, food, hygiene products, and the like to homeless shelters

Support food banks and homeless or animal shelters

Visit cemeteries; if allowed (please ask permission first), leave flowers on graves

Have a candle that reminds you of her (no altar needed)

Wear jewelry that reminds you of her

Keep a picture of her in your wallet

Have a stuffed animal polecat, dog, or toad

Have imagery of torches, crossroads, or magic around

Honor your ancestors; honor any spirits in your life

Volunteer at an animal or homeless shelter

Take a self-care bath/shower, especially those with herbs or candles

Visit a crossroads; walk/hike on paths that have a crossroads and pick the direction that calls to you

Take a walk during the new, half, or full moon (only if it is safe to do so in your area)

Take time to notice the phases of the moon; meditate under each one, and learn their meanings

Start a garden; tend to plants, especially herbs

Study herbalism; study the history of witchcraft

Ground yourself regularly

Include her within spell work, if you do any; practice discreet methods of spell-casting

Learn non-obvious divination methods; cartomancy, pyromancy, carromancy, etc.

Burn incense, if able; frankincense is great

Drink herbal teas; cook with herbs

Practice mindfulness and emotional regulation

Honor your home/space; keep it clean, and make it feel like your own

At the end of each month, cook a good meal and make drinks with added honey

Baking raisin and currant cakes

Practice patience and understanding

Work on your decision-making skills; what do YOU want? What do YOU need? What are YOUR goals/passions?

Making a bonfire; gathering around it, alone or with loved ones

Learning to have more confidence in your decisions and actions; you know what's best for you more than anyone else

Take a walk/drive through an area with lots of falling leaves during the Fall

Step in dry leaves to hear that satisfying crunch

Honor your ancestors; learn about your family history

Keep family heirlooms; hold onto to objects given to by loved ones who've passed on

Become comfortable with change; take new risks and go outside your comfort zone

Make a list of goals at the end of each month; these goals are for the month ahead

Find simple joys in your day to day; make a list of things that you enjoy

Spend time with pets and loved ones; show appreciation for them

I’ve been trying to find deities associated with ladybugs, but haven’t found much on the topic. Does anyone know of any gods?

My full moon messages

Lord Hades and Lady Persephone have been encouraging me a lot recently to share my faith more with others (I haven’t been writing much on here about my relationship with them because it feels very personal and intimate, but if they want me to be more open about my faith, I’ll follow their guidance in doing so!), so I thought this would be a good place to write down the highlights of my full moon divination session with them. I really loved these messages, and they were exactly what I needed to hear, so hopefully they inspire some of you too!

They both want me to work on my selfishness. I cut myself off from others too often, and need to be more aware of how I can help others/the world at large, and act upon those opportunities. They both emphasize that I am under their protection and should not be afraid. They also remind me to cherish the small things in life, and to treat everyone with kindness and compassion. Now is a good time in my life to connect more with nature. I’ve grown a lot recently, and They want me to celebrate that progress and be proud of myself!

In her tarot session, Lady Persephone encourages me to work on letting go of negativity, especially in regards to grudges I hold or resentments I have for the past. It’s not a good use of my time and energy, to be hung up on something that happened years ago that I can’t change, so it’s time to release those negative emotions. This may be something I’ve struggled with for years, but now I am strong enough to start making real progress on changing.

Lord Hades encourages me to keep working with him, especially as I go through transformative periods of my life, but also reminds me that my own power comes from within. I can be a lot more self-reliant than I think, and can use this independence to strengthen myself. No matter how much guidance He gives me, it’s ultimately up to me to make the changes I need to become the person I want to be. Balance is key when it comes to my relationships, in addition to how I live my life in general.

I’ve found that I feel the need to say something to signify the end of a prayer, or else I feel like it’s incomplete. This probably comes from growing up Christian, where “amen” was used all the time. I started just saying “thank you” for this and it works great! Just wanted to put that out there for anyone else who’s having similar concerns!

Graveyard Etiquette🪦

Before you go protect yourself you don't want a spirit attached to you.

Bring coins as offerings to the gatekeepers.

Bring with you offering for the spirits (food, water, flowers ect...) and leave it by a tree or away from the headstones for the spirits.

Make sure you don't step on anyone and apologiz if you do by accident.

Clean up neglected tombstones.

Ask before you take dirt. Use your intuition or divination to get a response.

Don’t take anything that is left for the dead.

Don't leave trash behind and if you find trash clean it.

Leave the way you came.
