I love how this implies the moment max get his hand on a two wheel skateboard, he's just gonna go beyond johnny's skill (as much is that to his demise)

concept max, while a scooter and parkour wizard, cannot skateboard. it has four wheels. how do- how- h. meanwhile johnny had mastered the art of skateboarding at the ripe old age of 2 gregorian years old, and holds this over max’s head. or rather, whooshes it past max’s head repeatedly from his cool skateboard.

Welcome to the First Spectober! A writing and art prompt filled October! Think Spooktober, but Paranatural themed.
There will be daily prompts, both for writing and art. These will be separated into two separate lists. However, if you ever want to use a ‘writing prompt’ for art, or vice versa, you are absolutely welcome to! The mimicked power Penny pulled from Max’s spirit was ‘contract claws’??
The powers are described to be something along the lines of knowing when promises are broken. I suppose the importance of promises has a double meaning to Max. The unnamed spirit clearly has a thing about promises considering the conversation it had with Doorman in chapter 3 and the supposed ‘unpleasant history’ that was mentioned in chapter 8. Now I’m wondering if Spender ever promised something to Max in like chapter 1 or 2 that is going to come bite him in the ass.

Gotta be Spender’s spirit, Lucifer. I just think he’s neat (He has a really good design, awesome powers and a philosophy that I’m excited to see effect Spender’s actions in the future. He seems the most levelheaded spirit belonging to the activity club members, which I can appreciate. Also he was nice to Hijack. I hope we get to see when exactly Dr. Burger gave the specs containing him to Spender).

Ángel has a wight and the spirit train in his control, not to mention white spirit energy Penny technically allied to him. The man’s deck is STACKED.
Maybe not necessarily his deck, per se, but the deck that he is technically in possession of. Is possessed by?
Regardless I can’t wait to see what he does with it. Ángel is becoming a very interesting character very quickly, even past being Isabel’s dubiously caring father.
