Though you couldn't use words, I miss when you'd speak. You always knew how to let your opinion be known. Whether it was a glance, a groan, or a smack to the butt. Your love and mildly passive aggressive behavior forever rests in my heart. I would never have become the person I am today without you, and I will spend the rest of my life trying my hardest to prevent your memory from fading.
Your absence is felt in every step I take forward, it's difficult to avoid feeling like we've left you behind. I wish so deeply that you were just relaxing in another room. That I could just find you again if I looked hard enough...
Though, no matter how I feel, to dwell on the pain of loss would be to reduce your life to it's ending. It would simply be throwing away everything you were. It hurts, that is certainly true, but I must remember the feeling of when you were here. If I don't, I could lose you forever.
Even if there will never be another opportunity to show you, I will always continue to love you.

Here’s one of my graduation caps from this year. The school I did this one for was boring and said we couldn’t add any 3d aspects to our hats or I might’ve done it like my other one (which I’ll post here too).
I made this one as a kind of memorial for my dog who passed earlier this year and who I still miss greatly every day. I put a lot of effort into his portrait because he deserves it <3

Drew my dog I have IRL!!
Her name is Jessie, a grey(?)hound/blue heeler/border collie lurcher mix, and she's a super sweet, rambunctious, and energetic girl who has an aloof and finicky side when it comes to strangers and stranger dogs (esp males)
but when you get to know her she absolutely LOVES attention and other people (she gives out really adorable hugs and snuggles) and she makes really funny noises when she barks sometimes since she's part hound dog
She also has the tenancy to get jealous of other dogs when they receive attention instead of her, so if you pet another dog in front of her, she will not stop yapping her head off at you the whole time
And never let her outside without a lease or cord to keep her in one spot in our yard since she will book it for at least an hour before she decides to come back
All in all, she is a chaotic worm dog that seems to have a secret human form she chooses to hide from us at all times!

(sad) context: one of my pet rats has been sick with a respiratory infection for a while… thankfully he’s feeling a bit better now tho, sooo this is an old pic! I drew it during the night when his breathing got especially bad and I had to stay up holding him and feeding him baby food :(
