There’s so many Snape parts I could post but this one sticks out the most to me. Everyone wants to talk about how bad Sirius was for sending Snape after Lupin, but what was stopping Snape from killing Sirius right now. There were no Dementors around yet,

Snape wanted to kill Sirius. Say what you want about the events of Order of the Phoenix but its very clear right here in book 3 that Snape would have killed Sirius and maybe Lupin had Harry and the others not stopped him.
