honestly the more i think abt colonialization the more and more angry i get bc so MANY countries have lost their cultures and arts to the colonizers,,, and to think that we're never gonna get most of it back breaks my heart, its as if they permanently severed the ties to our ancestors

and the fact that most ppl who were under colonizers take dna tests to see if theyre mixed but most of the time theyre 90%+ their native country 😭😭 just goes to show how they forced their own practices on us like owning last names and such
