π₯STH Big Bang 2024 Collaborations have begun!π
We have 289 participants split between 77 groups plus an additional 16 solo beta readers for a total of 305 participants! Right now artists and writers are getting to know each other in their individual groups and determining plans for their collaboration. Additionally, now is the time writers may start requesting beta readers for their works.
So far there has been a lot of great idea-crafting, and weβre so excited to see what the writers will have for the first check-in on March 31st! Until then, everyone!

We are just three days away from the posting period of the first annual Sonic the Hedgehog Big Bang!
The posting period will begin on Friday, June 21st, continue on Saturday, June 22, and culminate with Sonicβs birthday on Sunday, June 23!
As our artists and writers work to add the finishing touches on their pieces, weβve compiled some previews to show off just a taste of what this Sonic-filled Extravaganza has in store for us! When posting time comes, be sure to check out the #sonic big bang 2024 tag or this blog, as weβll be reblogging every piece here as theyβre posted! hey hey hey! i illustrated for this fanfic collaboration of when marnie was there x sonic the hedgehog. it honestly made me tear up a bit. i hope you enjoy it :)

the process behind this piece is actually mixed media! \(οΏ£οΈΆοΏ£*\))
the background was all traditional watercolor used like oil paint on bristol paper. then, i took a picture and digitally tweaked it to match the saturation of a digital painting. after that, it was all painting on digital from then on :D
just some more filters and color adjustments and pow! mixed media painting. feel free to use these techniques for any piece you do :)

Hiya! Welcome to the first day of Sonic Big Bang 2024!! This is the reason I haven't been updating "Like Glass", so I hope you enjoy this meal, and none other than @its-raining-rats-and-frogs helped me with editing of this work!!!

Below cut is the summary!!!
Everyone has their bad days, but Sonic having his frustration on full display is already unheard of, however this wasnβt just a single day; rather two weeks worth of it. And donβt get Amy started on the recent βsparsβ between Sonic and Shadow. Amy would argue that theyβve been trying to murder each other like never before. In some cases, Knuckles; and sometimes even Amy herself, needing to intervene. To make matters worse, the Blue Blur is especially avoidant of his counterpart, ironically much to Shadowβs irritation. She never had anything against their rivalry, but this was getting out of hand. Amy is sick of it. She just wants her friends to be happy again. With Amy nearly at her limit; she decides to put matters into her hands. She may or may not have heard of legend describing a gemstone that can help individuals understand each other's perspectives. What she hadnβt anticipated was how involved she was going to get, literally walking in each otherβs shoes.

After his adventure in Camelot is over, Sonic, now King Arthur, realises he can't leave. Desperate to return to his home world, he embarks on a journey. He doesn't account for this journey bringing him closer to his knights, as well as meeting people he never thought he'd have the chance to. As Sonic deals with friendship, magic, love, and the pressure of authority; the most pressing question of all is; which world does he choose?
A sequel to Sonic and the Black Knight.
