I found your blog not too long ago and the comics got me hooked 👀I wanted to have my own egg eaters… and here they are! Deirne and Aether!

Deirne is already well known for eating eggs and no matter how hard they try to catch him, he always finds a way out. Aether here, helps Deirne escape as long he gives an egg or two to her

Hypergryph: Being a comic artist is one of my dreams, so it absolutely thrills me to hear you enjoyed the EE comics ^^

Deirne and Aether... Firstly, their outfits and color schemes are utterly captivating. Aether's especially, with the butterflies and glowing incense glinting out from warm feathers and foliage. Definitely a stunning dragon!

Deirne sounds like a slippery one, though he's clearly a well known criminal! I get a Flynn Rider, or Captain Jack Sparrow feel from him, just from first impressions.

I absolutely love the eggeater lore, so of course I had to make my own! Phantasos uses the raw elemental energy in eggs to foresee slightly in the future, He attempted to train his child to become the next oracle, like his father did with him. But they did not develop the same abilities upon consuming their first egg, so Phantasos cast them off and began searching for a more worthy student.

Who doesn't enjoy a dramatic father-son tale? The whirlwind of conflicting emoions that poor kid must be going through. Rejection and bitterness, definitely. Shame, from not living up to such valued expectations. Maybe resentment, or indignation for having a father who set such high expectations in the first place? I wonder where the kid is now?

Using dragon eggs as a ritualistic tool for divination is a very, very cool concept that I'd love to keep an eye on ^^

Visually, everything is working together so beautifully in a subtle way. (I had to double take, the first time I saw him!) I truly feel like I'm looking at a character design from a tv show. Amazing submission!
