Guess who just finished the indigo disc dlc, ME!!!

and it only took me a day or so (mostly because I started at like 12 then had to finish it the next afternoon) but ANYWAY, it was really awesome, and the fact you can just mind control your own pokemon will forever send me into orbit. (And with the chance to be able to catch returning legendary, including LUGIA!!! heckin finally)

I infact liked it so much I took a few screenshots to add the light siblings in crudely

My First post of the new years gonna be THIS

Got the courage to begin making more silly little artwork for the YDM AU that I've rarely if never mentioned ever (SUPRISE❗️❗️)

Though idk how to explain it without sounding like a major dork (and I feel like the story still needs to be fleshed out) but the main gist is zombie robot virus apocalypse

Plus a little silly

I'll probably go into more detail once I get a sure footing (or when the motivation returns) but for now I'm off to dissappear agian ‼️‼️🎉🎉

Fire man and suna have their models completed! (Though i may still tweak some little details)

I'll continue the robot masters line based on the last poll, and then make another with the rest of the mmfc cast/ leftover rb masters when that's finished,

But can I just say, I have a small baby fit to throw, and whime about-

Why, tell me why, was it SO difficult to figure out fire man's torso / back wiring

i thought that wires connected to fire mans front were then connected to his storage tank, similarly to how his arm wires are connected to his elbows - but

NOPE! Not only did it take me y e a r s to find one single reference

(or, in this case, the gif above)

of the backside of fire mans tank

(which thank you to whoever made this I was DESPERATE)

but also I had to redo a major part of his wiring structure because the verts would overlap and collapse if I tried to combine the two chest wires into the one large wire on his back, so not only did I have to rewire fire man completely, but ALSO had to redo bone weight paintings, fix material displacements, and over all shading errors and model disfigurements caused by it

(I made the horrible mistake of not having the storage tank / wires not being a separate mesh in the first place)

So what can we take away from this?

Always have multiple references on hand

(ESPECIALLY side and back views)

because you never know when a characters design will hit you with the switcheroo double-sided whammy punches and knock you two ways back to saturn

and I haven't drawn the goobers in silly costumes in a while,

AYY Y.D.M AU STUFF YIPPIEE

Here's Ashley and bert, because why not (Sorry if it's low quality / things dont make sense or if there's any weird spelling mistakes, ect). It's late, and I'm Uber sleepy😭😭 ill try to elaborate more if asked)

Ashley is part of the main survivor group holed up somewhere (I haven't decided), along with most of the other none infected, she's doing her best to document and assist suna with scout work but sadly she doesn't have any actual weapons to help fight back (not yet atleast) so she mostly sticks to the sidelines. I'll probably use her journal entries to showcase more information about the au and the other survivors, but for now I'll just write down the basic stuff

Bert knows a lot more than he lets on. He was found a patrol team searching for resources around some vacant and priorly undiscovered set of underground facilities. he was nearly catatonic and refused to make direct eye contact with anyone. Since then, he has gotten better, though not by much. He picked up a few documents from the lab and since has been weirdly protective and fidgety with them since.

Aaaaaand now some good ending future goobers for funsies, because silly

Suna may seem relatively intact, but that's mostly because her armor took most of the brunt from attacks, though that doesn't mean she hasn't seen some stuff, but atleast she managed to create, somewhat of a cure, for the infection Though it can't help everyone, at least some people don't have to die, right?

Aki is kinda weird, because not only has he managed to recover from his infection without exposure to the cure, but he somehow managed to integrate it into his own systems, (think getting the cold, but instead of getting sick you mutate it and it gives you superpowers,) though that does come with the drawback of retaining minor symptoms and looking half meganized, this is mostly because Y.D.M (in severe infections) forces a robots system to work in its most extreme states, and for aki, thats when he's meganized, now he mainly focuses on helping suna with curing and reforming people. Suna isn't very fond of this, as she's seen aki takes it too far, often skipping days of sleep and forgetting to recharge while trying to help cure infected. At some extreme points, collapsing with exhaustion, thankfully suna is always keeping an eye on him.

Who knows maybe I will after all? I mean this is supposed to be the good ending right?

I'll nap on it and see what happens, though if I draw him, I'll have to draw skullman too, cus' yknow, LORE

Anyway, yeah, thank you for reading this small lore dump teehee (I'll draw more characters next time and have less text, I promise 😭😭)

Silly y.d.m AU doots of final stage daini to get back in the productive groove

Just figured I'd draw this goober now so that I could get the silly brain worms outta the way (trying to save the possible angst potential for later) and so that I can actually develope the important parts of the au (Ashley's journal, the other rb masters, the light siblings' issues ect.)

Here's a mini explanation for why daini looks like that if ya wanna give it a read

To summarize, during the final fight against skullman (who I'll just say now is technically still dead, the skullman in the au is just the malware's main host, basically a parasite puppeteering a dead person) aki gets very close to succumbing to his own infection but just barely pulls through with the power of FRIENDSHIP!!! and also through his infection completely warping to be separate from the malware and becoming its own thing (thanks compatibility code) once skullman is defeated all of the previously hostile and attacking infected suddenly just power off, and everyone assumes this is because they had won. Instead, since the malware's main host was gone, it was more focused on finding a new one, and it does, unfortunately.

There are a few details left out, of course, but that's the gist of it

Little extra fact, the malware purposefully keeps its appearance similar to daini's because it finds petty enjoyment in tormenting / manipulating others with it (especially aki)

Can you draw other pokemon besides mewtwo?

Of course I can!

Not any particularly interesting ones,

But I do like to think daini has a MAJOR sweet tooth

I also like to think that because of said sweet tooth, daini picks up baking / cooking as a hobby but considers it a little embarrassing to admit,

(Although everyone knows, because he has definitely baked the odd pastry for aki and suna at least a few times)

He may or may not be taking cooking classes with gutsman

(Because who else is gonna teach him)

Other headcanons I didn't really feel like drawing include (WARNING THEY ARE KIND OF STUPID AND YAPPER YAPPINGTON CORE SO YEAH⚠️⚠️👹👹)

It'd be pretty interesting if Daini had a damaged core (like protoman, but not as severe of course) this could have been a result of dangerous training or an extreme accident he never fully recovered from, either way I'd imagine it really stunts his energy output, so he's most likely very sleepy to compensate.

Aki has made a habit of gifting people the most random things, a really cool smooth rock? It's for you! Shiny marbled on the floor that are slightly scratched up? He thinks you'll like it! An extra edition of his favorite comic serious? He wants to be able to enjoy it with you! He's sweet like that, but it can sometimes get a little much.

Suna has probably grown to be a very good engineer / mechanic. She often helps Dr. Light with his inventions or fixes up Aki / Daini after rough battles (mini appreciates the help) of course she also uses her skills to upgrade her own armor, and often handles the tougher fights that Aki or Daini might struggle on, after all, nobody is expecting to be sliced into ribbons when facing two gun wielding children.

Once Daini starts something, he often has trouble stopping, so much so that if he often forgets to recharge and take a break, homework? Doesn't stop until it's all finished and the answers are correct (he will make sure), chores? The house will never look less than clean on his watch (his own room does not apply). You ask him to get something from the kitchen? He does it immediately, no questions asked.

Aki, on the other hand, is very forgetful about his responsibilities. He often puts them off until the very last moment and regrets it dearly. He doesn't do this on purpose, of course, but tell me, if you had to choose between playing your favorite video game VS doing homework, would you choose the homework? I don't think so. Because of this, Aki and Daini often bump heads about tidying up.

Suna CANNOT catch a break, she constantly has to be the head of reason whenever Daini and Aki bicker when eachother, she also might catch a few strayed herself if it's heated enough, but she has the verbal artillery to be able to snap back pretty quickly, so for the most part they don't test her. Sometimes she waits things out, othertimes she has to stop them from Lord of The Flies-ing each other off of a cliff (no pig head on a stick required) but like most sibling squabbles, everyone makes up and gets over it (unless it's over food, food thieves are never forgiven /j)

Despite my appreciation for the spooks,

I'm not really used to drawing it all that much
