despite the popularity of the ship, i havent seen a single good thing abt it that attracts ppl to become fans. every post ive seen of it either mischaracterizes alejandro or mal.

now, i am far from an alejandro fan. i dont see anything appealing abt him, n i couldnt even watch tdwt bc of him. however, even my hater ass can tell that those posts r NOT alejandro. he is not the soft little angsty bean ppl portray him as. he is a manipulative grown teenager w/ some family issues.

i feel like ppl only ship them together bc they hate eachother. that happens in almost every fandom.

also ppl completely ignore the fact that mal has other alters that would def not approve of the relationship. they mostly just pretend hes a singlet.

alemike is no better.

zoey is also like the sister svetlana never had. being the only girl in a system full of boys, zoey is a nice break from them. she also appreciates how zoey accepts her gender identity, regardless of biological gender

even tho he acts tough, vito loves being the small spoon. after getting a taste of the wonders of a healthy relationship, he loves zoey as much as she loves him

zoey hated vito in the show, but now, theyre as close as mike is w/ zoey. she loves it when he shows the softer side of himself - the real him

after a while of zoey dating mal, she saw how differently he acted when he was in love. she could tell that he took care of himself b4 their dates, n actually began to sleep more - though his favorite place to sleep is in zoeys arms

after the events on tdas, mal thought that duncan went through that whole "redemption arc" bc he was weak. then, mal went through the same thing. he noticed how un-malevolent he acted w/ zoey, n in all honesty, he didnt mind it

fellow mike fan.. also a system. I fell in love with Mike because he is a system, albeit a poor, stereotypical example. Do ya know any other system characters?

im gonna b fr w/ u, i dont know any other good 1s. the sys representations ive seen r either by magical fantasy means, or just paint it as this horrifying thing that turns any sys into a monster

even tho tdroti is rlly bad did representation (i mean it was made in 2012 ofc it would b) u can tell the writers did their best to make mike a likeable character w/ the limited knowledge they had

that was until tdas finale where they killed all the other alters off but yk
