When Castiel is back, he can't be in the dark either and the nightmares torment his nights. Dean offers to sleep in the same room and has to deal with his feelings in the process.

He closes his eyes and everything goes black.

The walls, the floors, black. That’s when the thumping begins. A deafening noise spreads, screaming echoes of silence in his ears, and his hands begin to shake. Where’s the air? How does one breathe?

There’s no air left anymore since he’s been gone.
