The night we met (vkook fanfic)
It was a cold winter night the first time Taehyung and Jungkook met, Jungkook was 18 and Taehyung was 20 they had nothing in common, Jungkook was a shy teenager that didn't like to go out or make new friends while Taehyung was super easy going and loved meeting new people and living exciting adventures. Taehyung was already in college while Jungkook was still in high school, the only thing they had in common was there love for strawberry milkshakes. They both liked to go to this vintage diner in there town it was the only place that served they're favourite milkshake. They had seen each other at the diner before but they never talked or even looked at each other twice they were just strangers that went to the same diner. But one night all that changed.
It was a Friday night and it was pouring outside so both of them went in the diner to find shelter from the rain. They usually sat at normal tables but this time they decided to sit down on the counter two sits from each other. They were soaking wet but it didn't seem to bother them that much, after they sat down they both ordered some fries and a strawberry milkshake, while Jungkook waited he made a drawing of his favorite anime character in his sketchbook while Taehyung just scrolled through Instagram.
When there orders finally came they ate happily, it was then that Taehyung saw from the corner of his eye a glimpse of Jungkook's drawing it was then when he first talked to him.
- Your drawing is really good you should be an artist. - said Taehyung.
Jungkook smiled shyly and said thanks, he felt very happy that someone liked his art it made him feel happy about himself.
After that Taehyung decided sense he had nothing to do why not try to get to know the mysterious boy a couple of sits from him. He asked him a bunch of simple questions like what's your name, what's your favourite color and so on. By the end of the night they were laughing so hard and having so much fun together, Jungkook felt really accomplished for finally making a friend.
- Oh shit...I gotta go my parents are probably wondering where I am... - said Jungkook concerned after looking at the time.
- It's cool if you want I can take you. -said Taehyung trying to be nice to the younger.
Jungkook accepted his offer and they left after paying for they're meals. They got into Taehyung's car and left the diner's parking lot. It was a weird atmosphere in the car both Taehyung and Jungkook didn't know what to say this was normal for Jungkook but not for Taehyung he wasn't used to being this awkward around people even if they had just met, so he just decided to turn on the radio to soothe the atmosphere.
When they finally arrived at Jungkook's place they sat there for a little while before Jungkook thanked Taehyung for the ride and the company on the diner, Taehyung said that it was his pleasure and asked for Jungkook's number so they could meet up again, Jungkook quickly gave it to him and left.
That night Jungkook went to bed feeling extremely happy about the fact that he had made a new friend but there was something about Taehyung that messed him up, something that intrigued him about him and he didn't know what it was, he had to admit he was hot and Jungkook was gay but he never in a million years could imagine Taehyung being gay. So he just laid there in bed thinking about the next time he would be able to see Taehyung.
"I know what else that entails," he sighed heavily. Before I could blink there was a gentle pressure on my forearm, the vampire tracing my tattoos in intrigue. "Symphonies have turned to screeches. The food loses its taste once it hits your tongue. Your fellow humans have become husks like you. It's the only way you can perceive them now. An artist who's lost his eye...”
His words cut deeper than his fangs. He leaned in ever so slightly, his chilled aura freezing all motion.
"Did you still feel that emptiness when I had you in my arms?"
