This month @oscensonata , @flamingo-bubbles , @moondeertribe , and I participated in Nanoreno 2023 to make a little proof of concept demo for a visual novel. We've launched the initial deadline in time for the game, but will be releasing a more complete demo in a week or so.

Synopsis after the cut.
Every night, after the music, a radio station opens the air to calls from listeners, and every night the restless souls trapped in purgatory clamor to be heard, to tell their story, be judged, and move on. Not every arbitrator of the dead is the same; some will do more than just listen and instead try their best to help find what bound their wayward callers here to begin with.
In this Visual Novel, you play as one such host. Listen and converse with the dead and help find what regrets they were left with and how to overcome them through narrative choices.
Disclaimer: The release for Nanoreno 2023 did not quite get as far as the team wanted, however we've left the story off at a satisfying cliffhanger and hope to update with the full extent of the demo for next week. If you like what you experience here, we hope you'll check out future updates.
Known Issues: We are aware that the menu is hard to read on the message boxes at the moment - that is something we will be fixing. (The MAC version is untested as I don't have a MAC to test it on. If you have any problems, let us know and we'll see what we can do.)
