Jimin is precious and an actual sweetheart.

You’ve noticed it for the past few weeks, even though you never wanted to in the first place. You’ve discovered a new side of Jimin. Not the sexy Jimin, who could make any girl swoon over him, which you’ve known from the beginning. But the silly Jimin who sometimes teased and acted like a child, laughing right after.

He’s cheerful most of the time, trying to cheer anyone who feels down and be there for them. Like that time, when Mina failed on her psychology test and cried on your shoulder, while Jimin assured her everything will be fine. He came back with a chocolate bar and single rose the next day.

But most of the time, he doesn’t show the way how he really feels or what he’s been going through. Like that time, when you’ve seen him struggling in the practice room you randomly passed by. The image is engraved in your mind to this day. He was there alone, sitting on the floor covering his face with his hands. At first, you weren’t sure if it’s really him since he changed his hair color back to his usual sandy blonde. But then you’ve noticed oversized sweater hugging his torso, the one you complimented him when Mina said she isn’t sure about it. You were debating about going in but then you’ve noticed not to, even when he stood up and threw frustratedly his black cap on the floor. You were once remembered that this is none of your business.

Eighth.

That’s going to be the eighth shelter you break in.

It was after the second one that you realized that you just couldn’t walk in and ask for Jimin — that you had to be smart and lie to their faces so you could look around or simply find a way not to be seen.

And once it was getting dark and everything started to close it became easier — to blend into the shadows, to hold your breath longer if needed and make your steps less noisy.

The cold air was welcomed every time you stepped out of those places empty handed, face hot with frustration and heart sore because of the ones you couldn’t help.

Then you would start it all over.

The soft pit-pat of feet was barely heard throughout the apartment. Jimin walked with the grace of his counterpart animal, minimalising any sound that might occur. His hearing was extremly acurate and even finer due to his…disabilty. Heightened senses also meant giving into his more animalstic instincts. A mediocre price to pay, he’d say. A low sound, a mixture of a sensitive purr and threatening growl rumbled in his throat. The sweet scent of Y/n stood in the air and Jimin examined where it smelt fresher and where it was stale. The entire night he had spent on his own, rolling in his soft sheets, barely getting any sleep. But his pride forbade him to repeat last night actions. Even though he missed the warm scratches he would not bow that simple.
