The thing is, I constantly think about eugenics. Like, not about killing disabled people but what we could do as a society to prevent those disabilities to even happen. In my opinion, having a child as a autistic person feels like voluntarily giving an inferior life to someone. Not only I'd potentially have a autistic child (which by itself would be a whole life of suffering to the child too) but also I'd probably be unable to properly be an emotional support like humans naturally deserve. I fully support getting help to autistic people like me but I honestly also hope that someday people start to do some kind of research about a possible way to prevent autism from even passing

If I was to get married, I'd lose my right to the majority of my disability benefits and my partner would be obligated to either provide for me economically or leave me. And this is not a weird senseless attempt to punish disabled people, but eugenics in action, dating back to the years where it was highly unacceptable to have children outside marriage.
