Maybe Sho happened upon Bonnie at some sort of dealer and he was drawn to her and they were like "nah man this one doesn't work i can't sell it to you" but Sho was like. Feeling a pull. And he was just like. Gimme the key. And Bonnie started up for him. And Hyde had to tell him she was an anomaly later. Or maybe Hyde knew an anomalous vehicle dealer--an Institute run place where they sell vehicles to Institute personnel and family for monitoring--and he took Sho there and Bonnie picked him.
