So I was listening to HS1 in the shower as one does and whenever I listen to Louis and Harry’s music I just think about what other people think their songs are about because some of the things people say...
Anyway Sweet Creature comes on and I’m like “HOW do antis and solo Harries think this song is about Gemma?!” It’s mind blowing. It’s a LOVE song.
Anyway that’s not my point really.
I was thinking about who else it could POSSIBLY be about if not Louis and I realized there’s no one else stunt or not. The way he alludes to the person being someone he’s lived with and loved from a young age there’s not a single woman he’s been associated with who fits that criteria.
Solo Harries and antis think he dated Kendall. They think AT LEAST Kiwi and Only Angel are about her on HS1 but it’s interesting... I’ve never heard them say Sweet Creature is about her. And that’s when I realized it’s because she doesn’t fit the criteria.
The ONLY reason they say Sweet Creature is about Gemma is because they KNOW there is no one else who it fits except Louis.
It’s obviously not proof by any means but it’s just funny. It’s interesting to say the least.
i'm just gonna say it...

i don't like this outfit it's not a vibe the colors clash and the patterns and the boa just is NOT working for me i'm SORRY he looks like a grandma and usually I like that but this is just... not it. It's almost like he's playing a parody of himself ?? idk bro I just think a little less gucci would be my preference. I like the cuts of all the pieces but the colors and patterns are not the vibe
besides the stunting this interview was so much more complimentary than I thought it would be... i'm pleasantly surprised!

Yes yes yes to an album of acoustic demos!! It'd be AMAZING. I love his songs as they are, but when he strips them down, they become something else - I feel like we're sitting in his living room with him. I wonder if maybe in the studio he just gets more self-conscious b/c he's making An Album so he doesn't QUITE let loose. Also yes to him singing about social/political things - imagine if he wrote a song that had the power of The Cranberries' Zombie or U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday. !!!
oh my god, right??? i don’t remember if it was something niall said or if i heard it somewhere else (or maybe i just made it up whomst knows), but i remember hearing once that the biggest sign of a TRULY great pop song is when you’re able to strip a song back to the barest essentials without losing any of it’s magic. i think that’s been proven over and over again when it comes to niall, because it doesn’t matter how big or small the setting is, the songs still always speak for themselves, you know??
and i do wonder a lot about where that dissonance is between stage niall and studio niall, because it feels like he still hasn’t quite found the magic ‘It Factor’ formula when it comes to his studio versions and ESPECIALLY the way his vocals are produced in the studio. i feel like you could definitely be onto something with the thought that he’s so hyper-conscious of the fact that he’s making An Album that’s going to have to stand the test of time that he tends to over-think and over-produce himself just a bit too much, rather than going ham and leaving it all on the line, for better or worse, like he would in a live performance where he’s only got one shot at it, you know?? whatever it is, i’d love to know more from him about his thought process when it comes to studio versions and their place in his sound overall, cause i feel like that would definitely shed a lot of light on it???
and as far as social and political songs go- if he ever wrote anything as overt as either of those i might shit myself, no joke. i definitely think he has the capacity to get there, and he HAS expressed a desire to move in that direction a couple times now, but i feel like it might take him a while to actually get to the point of overtly political songs?? but i’m mostly basing that on the fact that we haven’t really heard him cover any topics like that before so maybe i’m not giving him enough credit, but i wonder if he might want to, like, merely dip his toe in the water with some sort of ‘could be political/social commentary, could be about a personal relationship’ thing before REALLY going for it like those songs do??
