I just wanna chat about Zayn’s career a bit, why no LPs? Why no gigs? why do we think zayn doesn’t like performing? I saw a few performances and yes granted he looked nervous but not any more than any of the other boys when they were starting out their solo careers.

I really think that we as a fandom should unpack how it’s Very Cool to like harry styles right now but not as cool to like any of the other 1d members despite all of them being very successful and being equally as unique as harry is. and also how it’s extremely cool to like harry in a way that it was NEVER cool to like one direction.

Wow. So excited for this Zayn and Ingrid collab. But I am also kind of suprised? The timing is weird (Zayn has just released an album 2 months ago). The release day is Wednesday, which is simply bizzare.  There’s also the interview situation. Why now. The timing is all wrong. Unless he’s going to do give us Z4 soon (doubt that) or a different major thing. Don’t know what to think.

also... their version of "a lot of promo" is like... an instagram post. like ??? i also think it has a lot to do with the fact that it's a collab and ingrid's promo team is probably not interested in sabotaging their client (GASP, WHAT A REVOLUTIONARY IDEA!)

honestly i think the only reason why RCA is doing all this promo for zayn is probably because they're really close to zayn leaving and i think that regardless of how much promo they do, zayn is still going to leave RCA.

no this pisses me off because they KNOW. they freaking KNOW how stan twitter is. they KNOW about the kind of following that zayn has and the numbers we have. they should have known to tell us what time the song was coming out and that we'd be staying up late for the release like we did with vibez. they should have KNOWN that it would be misleading for them to do what they did. they just let the update accounts tell everyone a new song was coming out when it was just a teaser. they're slowing his reach. it's like a roller coaster that stops halfway to the bottom. completely ruins the effect. Blake does amazingly and he has recently got into one direction and it seems that he has loved them as much as us. Now we are told Blake was told explicitly not to post album breakdowns by Zayn’s label RCA? WTAF?
