The stupid little Heimer and Ekko scene has me grinning ear to ear because they’re just an adorable duo but it also raises a lot of questions?? I’m so curious about this whole thing.

What are they stealing?

Why are they stealing it?

When in the season does this take place?

Ekko has a legitimate point. Why are they sneaking around? It’s not like Heimer has been banished…which means Ekko has to be there. I’m not complaining because Ekko’s my second-favorite character in the show but nonetheless why is he there? It seems like he would only slow Heimer down, so whatever they’re smuggling out must be either heavy, hard to reach, or needs to be judged for merit by Ekko.

The hallway that the enforcer is shown walking down looks like the same hall that Sky was traversing when she was talking to herself about her research, so it may be that Heimer and Ekko are trying to get into Jayce and Viktor’s lab unseen. Why?

Are they trying to steal something more raw like the gemstones or research notes, or something more complex like the Hexclaw or Atlas Gauntlets?

Heimerdinger has a mask, here. Does that mean enough time has passed between S1’s finale and the present to allow for Heimer to be “initiated” as a real Firelight, or is it part of the silly gag of Heimer taking this way too seriously?

i also wonder if this shot from the trailer is going to take place in the lab after him and Ekko get wherever it is they’re looking for.

It's because it's about the butterfly effect! Mainly the one caused by Jinx.

If Jinx didn't fiddle with the hexcores, the explosion in Jayce's house wouldn't happen.

Viktor wouldn't come over to inspect it.

He wouldn't figure out hextech with Jayce.

They wouldn't find out how to turn it into easily accessible magic energy.

So Noxus wouldn't want to turn it into a weapon and wouldn't need to infiltrate Piltover so vastly. Worst case scenario, start an invasion.

And Jinx's fucking terrorist attack is just a goddamn excuse for Noxus to infiltrate Piltover deeper than ever before. (They already tried with the warmasons like Tamara in the tales.)

The plot, the event plan is so complicated that only the demons in game saw through it:

Like Swain says about Jinx: "Faces fading in the flames. It was all her fault." (he's the grand general of Noxus and a host of Raum - the demon of secrets)

And like Fiddlesticks says: "Jinx! All your fault! All your fault!" (He's the demon of fear)

It's not just about Jinx killing her family, it's about the butterfly effect her unfortunate deeds caused eventually leading to an entire invasion.

Rewatched that Ekko & Heimerdinger clip and I'm pretty sure that was the same hall Sky last walked down when she was going towards the lab. All that to say, Ekko and Heimerdinger are about to do some swiping. Which is a pretty funny parallel to season 1 when Jayce and Viktor were trying to sneak into the lab room to work on hextech. Wonder if Harold is still patrolling.

No one's going to talk about how Powder and Viktor share meltdowns down to the most micro expression? Okay

The posing down to the FRAME is almost identical

Both are trying to destroy their respective torments. This hurts.

What's even more devastating is that we have already seen the way Powder met her demise with her bomb... now we just have to see how Viktor meets his with the hexcore...

I love this show but part of loving it is crying over the details like this 😭
