Sam and Deena: //stop fighting BC of memories//

Us: "...Wait a minute, were we right?????"

So, after almost a year I managed to make my friend watch Bly Manor. She hasn't seen everything yet and she just asked:

"If Dani can't look into mirror without being scared, how does she do her hair everyday? Is the ghost in the mirror just giving her tips as to how her hair looks from behind?"

I am still ugly laughing

Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood should star in the same TV show/movie. But they play the same character and everyone Daniel plays the guy, he gets told how much he looks like Frodo, while Elijah gets told he looks like Harry Potter and they stare at the camera for a few seconds

I just think that would be neat

“You did it, Lena! We’re heading back now.” 

“See you guys soon.”

Lena bows her head in relief over the keyboard, popping her earpiece out and clicking it off. She allows herself a moment to breathe with the relief that nothing had gone wrong. 

“Well done, Ms. Luthor.” 

She almost jumps at the voice. Zor-El. She’d forgotten that Kara’s father had remained in the Tower with her after being benched by Kara. 

He stands tall beside her looking worlds away from the broken man she’d seen when they had first rescued him from the Phantom Zone, the crest of El proud on his broad chest. 

“Oh.” Lena feels a light flush spread over her cheeks at the praise, tucks her hair behind her ear. “That was nothing, your daughter did all the heavy lifting.” 

He tilts his head toward her, an unrecognizable look in his eyes. “On Krypton, we told stories of the Solar System, and its singular life-bearing planet. Silly stories about the lack of sophisticated life forms on planet Earth. I’m ashamed of those stories now that I’ve had the honor of working with one of Earth’s heroes.” 

With a start, Lena understands the look on his face. Pride. He’s proud of her. This man really is Kara’s father. If she’d ever doubted it before, she sees it clearly now. 

“On Krypton, Kara would’ve been paired with someone years ago. She always was an overachiever. She clearly didn’t need anyone’s guidance in finding her perfect match. When I have accomplished my mission here on Earth, I know that Alura and I would be honored to welcome you to the family on Argo.” 

He beams at her, resting a soft hand on her shoulder, eyes squinting with joy the way she’s seen Kara’s do countless times. 

And then he’s turning to greet his daughter where she’s landed on the Tower balcony, not realizing that he’s turned Lena’s entire world upside down.
