Does Anyone Know What Year The Witch Boy Graphic Novels Take Place In? Its Never Officially Stated And

Does anyone know what year The Witch Boy graphic novels take place in? It’s never officially stated and I can’t find any information anywhere.

Ariel’s foster parents have a home phone, but as far as I know those aren’t to common nowadays. Although, Ariel’s foster family could just be part of the small percentage that still uses a home phone. The only thing that makes me think this is not the case, is the fact that we never see any characters in the series use a cell phone.

I would normally think that this takes place in the 90’s after looking everything over, but a timeline issue comes into play when talking about Charlie’s parents. Charlie has two dads and gay marriage wasn’t legal until 2015, so it’s weird that nobody is shown to use a cell phone, yet gay marriage is legal.

I might be reading too far into this, and it could probably be explained by just saying that people just don’t use their cellphones, or that it takes place in a world where things happen differently. I just wanted to see if I could place a year on it.

I feel like it’s a universal constant that everyone when they watched Sk8 the Infinity for the first time, and saw this scene, just hearing Langa say, “Reki, my love…”

Freaked the fuck out, paused the show faster that the speed of light, thought about it for a good 25 seconds, and resumed. Only for Langa to say right after,

“…oF sKaTeBoArDiNg”

Then proceeded to say, “GOD DAMNIT LANGA!!!” In frustration.

As much as I like Langa, I was about ready to reach through my screen and violently shake him.

This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Plus I want to save this to watch again.

Since soft shells have long ass necks and and their strong bite as a defense mechanism, what if Donnie just used his neck to freak people out. Like, he’ll be sitting, someone comes up behind him and he’s just like, “The hell you think you doing, bitch.” While extending his neck around and staring at them. And if he’s feeling extra aggravated, he’ll bite them. Depending on how mad they made him, the harder he’ll bite their hand. Just a head canon based of posts in the fandom. I’m pretty sure that there is art of this.

Percy Jackson. The series is just all around amazing, but I can’t get the Heroes of Olympus books yet and it’s driving me mad.

So I just started getting into Deltarune recently and keep accidentally activating the cut scenes. I finish chapter one a few months ago, but didn’t start going, “Holy sh*t this is awesome” until I started chapter two a few days ago. Back to the cutscene thing, in the beginning of chapter two when you go to the library, I accidentally activated the cutscene before I could explore the town a bit. But in the corner of my screen, I just saw Undyne flipping out about what looked to be a car pile up. So now all I have is the information that some shit when down and just have to live without the context until I replay it.
