You’d refuse to look at him directly, shoving the plate of pancakes and eggs away, the brim of the platter digging into his bare tummy. “That’s not what it looked like when she was kissing down your neck while you gripped her ass and told her to keep going.”

Harry looks down at the rejected breakfast with furrowed brows and a regretful frown dipping his ruby lips. “I’m really, really sorry.”

“Just leave me alone.”

He pushes off the mattress, setting your food down on the nightstand in case you would want it later. He stops at the frame of the door, looking back with pain evident in his jade eyes because he didn’t know it would upset you this much. “I can…I can call Niall, if y’want? And you can do it to me…”

You laugh humorlessly— bitterly— while shaking your head in disbelief as you draw your knees up to your chest, turning your face fully away from him so he can’t see the tears glittering on your eyelashes. Your voice is tight with emotion.

“It’s not the same. Not the same as watching the person you love fuck someone else without a second glance at you because even then, all I would be thinking about is—“ there’s a crack in your words and you try to reign yourself back with a deep breath. “All I would be thinking about is you. Now, just get out. Please.”

Harry’s eyes cloud with regret as he sees just how deeply this is affecting you. The fact that he can’t do anything about it— can’t take last night back— is tearing him apart inside. He fucked up and the only thing that could fix it was time.

So he lets out a shaky sigh and wipes at his eyes messily with the back of his hand, slowly closing the door behind him as he leaves, the sound of you sniffling making his chest tighten.
