29. “Would you rather be huge or tiny?”
30. “This is normal! Maybe not to you but it is to me!”
31. “Stop running!”
32. “Hey! What did we say about the teeth?!”
33. “What are you hiding behind your back?” “... no one- uh - nothing...”
34. “Sorry you had to see that.”
35. “Did they fall asleep in your hand?”
36. “What do you want me to do about it? I’m three inches tall.”
37. “Oh, you don’t fit? Shame.”
38. “I shouldn’t have shouted.”
39. “You’re gonna fall!”
40. “I didn’t know they were actually afraid of me...”
41. “I’m... I’m stuck.”
42. “You could ask!?”
43. “It’s just a hand.”
44. “You’re very brave.”
45. “Shhh... just sleep... you’re safe.”
46. “You’re... too... heavy!”
47. “Your hand is comfy.”
48. *screams very loudly for basically no reason*
49. Don’t touch them!”
50. “No one is ever going to hurt you again.”

For the prompt game, how about Bad finding a tiny Skeppy hiding among some flowers because he's trying to camouflage himself and failing to do so?
This one was fun to do! They have such a fun dynamic to write, so thank you for the ask, and I hope you enjoy <3
Warning for: language (as always, let me know if I need to add anything here :D)
Word Count ~ 700
More under the cut!!
------------------------------------------------
When Bad had set out that morning to explore the area by his new home, he hadn’t really expected to find anything interesting. The first thing he noticed and headed toward was a field of flowers near his house, a small smile on the demon’s face as he walked over to it. His white eyes widened as he saw all the vibrant colors of the flowers that stretched across the vast expanse of land.
He set to collecting some of them. They’d certainly do well as decorations for his home. He hadn’t gotten a chance to truly add any personal touch to it yet, and he was excited to at least gather enough flowers for an arrangement. With that in mind, he stooped to pluck a flower, placing it in his other hand. He did that several times, with different flowers of course, and soon had enough for a small bouquet to place in his vase at home.
He was about to head home when he spotted a flash of blue nearby amongst the green flower stems. Curiosity sparked in him and he crossed the short distance, kneeling quickly, his gaze snapping to a small figure at the soft sound of a frightened gasp.
The demon met the wide eyes of none other than a diamond fairy, and his mouth fell open in shock.
“Holy muffins,” he breathed, reaching forward on instinct. He drew his hand back immediately as the little guy scrambled back.
“S-Stay away from me, you dick!”
Bad, at the surprising vehemence he could hear behind the fear, recoiled at the harsh language (at least, what he would consider to be ‘harsh language.’
“Hey, language!” He protested, but he held his hands up placatingly, ignoring the way his stomach churned as the little fairy flinched. “I’m not going to hurt you, I was just curious. I’m sorry.”
Silence stretched, the tiny being just staring at him with wide eyes. As the awkward air settled around Bad, he found himself talking again.
“I know I can look a little scary,” he began, trying to see how the fairy was reacting to his words. Just a stare so far, one that said yeah, obviously. And that was to be expected; most humans stayed away from him, whether from his demonic appearance, his tall height of 9 feet, or maybe both. “But, I promise that I’m not hre to hurt you or anything. I think I’m a pretty nice muffin. Uh, I’m BadBoyHalo, by the way, but you can just call me Bad, if you want.” Silence again. “Or, just whatever you want, I guess.”
“Whatever I want?” The fairy’s blue face lit up with what could only be described as a devilish grin. At Bad’s nod, it only widened, and there was a sudden air of confidence. “so I could call you... a bitch?”
Bad’s mouth fell open again, eyes wide as he huffed. “Well, maybe not something quite do vulgar, you.... you absolute muffinhead.”
“A muffin... Did you just call me a muffin head?” For a moment, there was silence again. And then The fairy burst into laughter. “Yeah, okay, you’re definitely harmless.” His grin was wide. “And I’m Skeppy, by the way.”
“Oh, nice to meet you Sgeppy,” Bad returned with a polite smile, pronouncing the fairy’s name with more of a ‘g’ sound than a ‘k.’
They lapsed into easy conversation, the sun high above their heads.
“Anyway, I meant to ask,” Bad started at some point, “what were you doing in the flowers? Aren’t diamond fairies typically underground.”
Skeppy laughed, bright little peals of laughter that warmed Bad’s heart.
“I was hiding.” He responded with the most deadpan, serious expression Bad had seen on that face so far.
“Well, maybe next time you camouflage yourself, try not being bright blue right by these green flower stems.” Bad teased, scooping the tiny up gently in his hands.
Skeppy barely reacted, apparently comfortable enough around the demon to simply fall limp with a groan.
“Thanks for your constructive criticism, Bad.”
“Anytime, you little blue muffinhead.”

Woah I wrote more than I had been expecting haha. Let me know what you think and feel free to submit more asks! These are a lot of fun to write :D
I love this idea so much! Is it okay if I wrote a Drabble about the first scenario? I wanted to ask before I wrote anything but if not that’s okay too <3
I’ve seen a couple of posts talking about reversing tropes and making the giant be scared of the tiny and I honestly LOVE that so here are a few of my ideas with mcyt characters.
George and Sap are wandering through the woods (fantasy au? idk) and there’s a storm so they hide in a cave. Turns out there’s a literal giant in the cave; instead of the giant being pissed like they were expecting, though, he’s very clearly scared of them. They follow him deeper into the cave and he’s too nervous to try running around them. Eventually they’re able to convince giant Dream that they don’t mean any harm and they won’t be bringing other humans here to kill him or anything like that.
Tiny demon Bad. He wouldn’t be scary for very long, but Skeppy would definitely be nervous about the literal demon he accidentally summoned, especially since Bad is a bit grumpy about Skeppy not knowing how to dismiss him and let him leave.
Borrower Dream who stabs the absolute shit out of Sapnap when he’s first caught. Sapnap and George are then terrified of the little man living in their home, acting like he’ll stab them if he gets anywhere near them, and when Dream realizes this he takes advantage of it lol
Tiny George who is actually some kind of mushroom fae. Dream stumbles across him and is curious but doesn’t mean any harm; George, however, is nervous and creates a weak mind-controlling mushroom (like the kind that can control insects, sorta) and manages to make Dream leave. Or maybe he makes one with paralyzing spores and makes it so Dream can’t move, then threatens to stab him a bunch or poison him if he doesn’t leave. Dream leaves, and he’s very spooked but also insanely curious, so he’s dumb enough to return.
Tiny Blob Dream but he’s basically a vacuum cleaner and he just eats all the hunters’ weapons and gear and then spits out arrows and potions at them to chase them off.
Tiny Sapnap who can just set whatever he wants on fire. George finds him (maybe he lives in the Nether?) and tries to pick him up but Sapnap just sets him on fire lol eventually George and Dream are able to convince him that they’re friendly, but they’re understandably wary about being set on fire.
Just a few fun ideas <3 Thanks for reading!
It has now been 2 weeks since Techno's secret has been discovered, and needless to say, it was a huge weight off his shoulders.
He would still drink the potion from time to time, earning a small glare from his friends.
"Come on, it's not because I'm a giant that I have to stop seeing the world from your point of view. Plus I don't have to worry about crushing you or stepping on you everytime."
"Sure… but this better not have anything to do with your fears of rejection because we're humans. Because we told you-"
"-told you it's fine and we don't care and will continue to view you as the same person despite everything. I know." Techno finished with a smile.
And maybe he was still a bit insecure about the whole ordeal. Maybe. But he did his best to push his anxieties aside, and when the potion wore off, he would still hang out with his friends for a couple hours more. So it was progress!
Plus, while hanging with people at his real size, he found much more fun ways to torment his pals.
"Hey, that's not fair!! Give it back!!" Tommy yelled, jumping as high as he could
"Heh, if you want your Juke-box back, just come and grab it~" the giant taunted, dangling the precious object (carefully) a good 30 ft above the human. Wilbur and Phil simply laughed at the scene as Tommy tried to climb on techno's shirt, since he was lying down, only for him to fall back on the ground. ("It always seems so easy in the movies, what the fuck?! That's not fair.") Techno's movements always stopped as soon as he felt the boy trying to climb, and suppressed a laugh as he failed.
After a couple more attempts and laughter, Techno gave back the precious box to Tommy, who held it close to his chest.
"Oohh, my precious, how have I missed you"
"Come on, I only took it for 20 minutes" Techno snorted
"And that's 20 minutes of me being separated from my true love!! How could you" he said, overdramatically.
"What a vile creature I am, truly" he replied, deadpan.
Eventually, the conversation shifted back to random topics. It was nice.
After a moment though, Techno noticed Tommy staring blankly at him, silent. After a couple more seconds, the blond prompted.
"What is it like, to see things from up there?"
Everyone turned to look at Tommy. Techno raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"What's it like, you know? Because you can and have seen things from our perspective, but I don't know what it's like to have your eyes so up high."
Techno was taken aback. Usually they did not really mention their size difference, aside from jokes and nicknames. He felt his throat tightening a bit.
Before he could answer, though, Tommy asked. "Can you show me?"
Immediately, Techno's mind was filled with a thousand possibilities this might go wrong. He tried to mute them down hard.
"Well, sorry to disappoint you buddy, but I don't have any 'growth potion' so I can't really-"
"No, I meant like, you grab me up there." Tommy corrected, very casually.
Techno stepped back "WHAT? Tommy, I can't- … I …"
"What, is it illegal or something?"
Techno could only see thoughts of his friend getting hurt by his carelessness. He never held a human before! Not like that!!
"No, but- … I … what if I grab you too hard, or lift you too fast? Or if you fall?? I-"
"Well I'll tell you if there's something wrong, big man." Tommy reassured. "And don't worry. I'm not made of porcelain."
"I.. yeah, I guess so.." That didn't mean he couldn't get hurt by a giant. But oh well. Tommy seemed dead set on the idea, and no one can make Tommy deviate from his plans.
He swallowed back the lump in his throat and slowly lowered his hand until it was on the ground, next to his friend not bigger than it.
Tommy casually hopped on it as if it was the hundredth time he's done so, and looked at techno with kind eyes.
Carefully, he moved on to a sitting position, and, as he internally screamed for his morbid thoughts to stop, lifted his hand. Tommy lost a bit of balance at first, surprised by the feeling, but was fine the whole way through.
When the hand reached Techno's chest, however, he stopped. Dead still. Tommy's brow furrowed and he lifted his head to see the other's expression.
Techno's mind was frozen. It was one thing to imagine a human in your hand, but it was miles away from actually holding one.
He literally held a whole life in his hand,
and could do so as he pleases… He could do so many horrible things to the boy, who would be powerless to stop him.
And he could protect it. He was like a sanctuary for them to come to. He could wrap himself easily around his humans and keep them safe for as long as he desired…
So much power, simply sitting in his hand…
It was too much
So many thoughts screamed in his ears at once, and he could not focus on anything but the blond boy. He saw his lips moving, but couldn't hear anything. The overwhelming realisation hitting him too hard. So many images, contradicting each other. He could hurt them- protect them- squish them- keep them safe- kill them- make sure no harm came to them- imprison them- bring them to new heights-
"-no. Techno?? Big man what's up?? Come on, talk to us."
With a gasp, he finally regained his senses.
"I-I'msorry, I… I can't- I just can't." He hurriedly put the human back down, with rapid breathing. Before they could ask another question he reached for his potion and drank a good half of it and shut his eyes closed, desperately trying to shut the thoughts with it.
After a few agonizingly long minutes, he opened his eyes and, sighing with relief, registered he shrunk back to a human size. (One he could not hurt his friends with.)
Phil and Wilbur were already at his sides, with Tommy a few steps away.
"What happened, Techno? Are you okay??" Wilbur asked
Techno took a deep breath, and was immensely glad his thoughts quieted down to almost nothing. It was safe now. They were okay.
"Yeah- yeah… I'm fine." He took another deep breath and met Phil's sad expression. Guilt crushed him for a second.
"It's just… it was uhm… a bit too much. I, I didn't realize just how much… how much things it changes…"
Phil and Wilbur looked at each other, confused. Techno wanted to explain further, but the images threatened to flow back. He was stuck.
A mumble from behind broke the three of them out of their trances, and they looked at Tommy, shifting a bit at the sudden attention.
"I'm sorry Techno…" he mumbled again. "I should have known."
Steadily, techno stood up, taking a couple steps towards Tommy, who did not flinch. He let him close the distance, which he did with a strong hug.
"I'm sorry." Tommy whispered to his ear. Techno hugged back, holding the human like a lifeline. "That was probably too much."
"I saw so many things… I could do so many things… I don't want to hurt you" the giant's breath was shaking.
"I know, big man. And I know you won't." Tommy reassured.
"But it's so easy…" techno replied, loud enough that the other two could hear him.
"But you won't. The fact that you stopped the second you realised means that you won't."
Techno held onto the words, thought them back in his head, muttered them like a mantra.
"I won't. I won't. I won't hurt you."
"You won't. You're alright, big man. You're alright."
Slowly, techno let go of Tommy, who did the same.
He turned around and saw his two other friends. Immediately, Wilbur hugged him. He laughed in surprise before hugging back.
He then looked at Phil, and the guilt from before returned again.
"Sorry I took the potion." He mumbled "I wasn't thinking very clearly."
He felt a hand on his shoulder, and suddenly, Philza was smiling at him. A sympathetic, unapologetic, precious smile that only he could manage. "It's alright mate. It's probably scary to be so different sometimes. If you feel like it's better, then I trust you. We'll wait until you're ready."
He swore his eyes were teary, but he couldn't bring himself to care. "Thank you."
"Anytime, mate." Phil replied.
First times often aren't perfect, that's for sure. But one day, he would be confident enough that he could make them see the world from his eyes.

Giant Dream is Scared of Humans Sapnap and George
Hey! This is a little story thing based on this post by @giant-tiny-squid!
I thought that it was a super interesting concept and I wrote a little more than I probably should have haha! Anyway here it is!
Warnings for: fear and swearing (I think that this is it, but please let me know if I missed anything!
Word count ~1700 words
When Sapnap and George had set out to visit the Badlands on the other side of the forest, it had been a nice and sunny day. They’d been laughing and cutting up with each other, banter passing easily as they walked along the forest. Sunlight danced through the leaves and provided a pleasant atmosphere as they travelled. But about a fourth of the way through the forest, they could see dark storm clouds gathering in the sky at an alarming pace. They decided to pick up their own pace as well, hoping they would make it through the forest or that the rain would simply pass them so they could make it through the forest safely. Like most things regarding these two, it didn’t go their way. “Holy shit!” George let out a startled exclamation as boom reverberated to the forest, loud and quick to follow the flash that preceded it. Sapnap let out a sharp laugh, nudging George’s shoulder. The armor they wore made a clinking sound as it connected. “Awwww, is Georgie scared of a little thunder?” “Shut up,” George’s cheeks turned a bit red as he shouldered Sapnap back, “let’s just keep moving and try to find some shelter.” A few moments later, it started to pour down heavy rain, and they were soaked. The both of them room out their weapons as mobs began to spawn, George with a sword and Sapnap with an axe. It wasn’t long before they spotted a cave ahead and made their way to it, trying to shake off the water that dripped from them. “That was crazy! That came out of nowhere, like, holy muffins.” “You’re starting to sound like Bad.” Sapnap chuckled, playfully rolling his eyes. “And seriously? You wanna talk about the weather of all things?” “What else would we even talk about? This dark cave?” George retorted. “Well, if you want to talk about the weather, I guess I could just make fun of you for your fear of thunder.” “What? No, it just caught me off guard.” “Sure,” Sapnap dragged it out with a smirk, not noticing how George went stiff. “I mean, seriously—“ “Sapnap, I—“ “No George, seriously, thunder? I mean I get if it was—“ “Sap—“ “Why do you keep trying to interrupt me? You know—“ “SAPNAP!” His voice echoed around the cave and Sapnap fell silent, finally following George’s gaze further into the cave. Right where they could see the silhouette of a giant. They couldn’t see much, just barely able to make out that it was likely male. Their attention was taken up by what little of him they could make out. But even then, they couldn’t see much other than a white smiling mask that covered a good bit of his face. There was a beat where no one moved, simply staring at each other, everyone in the cave tense. Anxiety pooled in the humans’ guts, intimidated by the being that could easily overpower the two hunters. And then lightning flashed, and oh. Oh. He was massive. And he was moving. As soon as there was any sign of movement from the giant, the humans let out a startled shout, Sapnap moved protectively in front of George, raising his axe defensively. But to their shock, the giant had moved further away from them. Not that there was much further he could go anyway from them; the cave itself wasn’t insanely large to begin with. The humans were stock-still, feeling confused as hell. Wasn’t the giant upset that they were in his cave, or whatever? Instead, as they examined the massive being not too far across the cave from them, George was first to notice how wide the green eye, which was just barely visible to them behind that smiling mask, was. The giant was... scared? But why, he was so much bigger and could easily defeat anything, so why...? Another flash of lightning was followed by a crash of thunder, which was then followed by a whine from the giant. George’s eyes softened. He must be scared of thunder. “Hey it’s okay, big guy.” He ignored the warning that Sapnap hissed under his breath as he stepped closer to the giant. His heart ached as the giant pressed himself further against the wall. “Thunder can be a bit scary sometimes. I know.” Sapnap, while George had though that the giant was scared of thunder, had connected the dots a bit better. He’d seen the way the giant eyed them and their weapons. And now that the giant was shying away from George of all people only further solidified that for him. Sapnap took a hesitant step forward to test his theory, the giant’s eyes snapping over to him at the movement. “Are you...” he licked his lips, his mouth suddenly dry. “Are you scared of us?” He was met with a whimper from the giant, and Sapnap shifted his grip on the axe as the giant moved slightly. “Don’t hurt me.” The giant pleaded, green eye wide and watery with fear. Fear of the humans. “Please leave.” Now, both humans were utterly confused, especially George. However, their thought processes were a bit different on the situation. George wanted to immediately reassure the giant that they weren’t going to hurt him and was hoping he could convince him to let them stay. He himself was wary of being there with the giant, but it didn’t seem like he meant them any harm. Besides, there wasn’t really anywhere they could go. With the storm and mobs outside, it wouldn’t be a smart move to leave the cave. Sapnap, on the other hand, was thinking about how they could use the giant’s fear to their advantage. They could have a guard for the night, maybe longer. And that would mean that George would be safe. Unfortunately for the giant, Sapnap spoke first. “We won’t.” He told the giant, watching closely as the being seemed to relax a bit. “If,” and just like that he was tense again “you let us stay here tonight and keep us safe. And take off the mask.” “I—uh. Yeah, for sure, uh, deal, deal.” The giant was quick to agree, licking his lips as the slipped the mask off of his face. This, he hesitated with quite a bit, but he seemed to accept defeat as he removed it, revealing a lightly freckled face with a few scars. “Sapnap,” George hiss under his breath, “what are you doing?” “Just trust me.” He returned with a small smirk, looking back up to the giant and clearing his throat. His voice was louder as he addressed the giant again. “Tell us about yourself.” “I, uh, of course!” And just like that, desperate words began to spill out of his mouth. “I’m Dream. There’s not much to say about me, really. I just live out here. Well, not here here, but, uh I got caught out in the storm. That’s about it.” Dream was met with silence and chewed on his lip anxiously. He continued to ramble on, breathing picking up a bit as one of the humans shifted closer. The one with the sword, his mind helpfully informed him. “A-and I’m alone now and I won’t bother you if you leave or just let me leave and-and I haven’t hurt anyone, I swear, and so you don’t need to kill me. Or tell anyone about me. Or-or send anyone to hunt me down, just please.” This eyes were wide, and earnest, and damn his face was just so expressive. It made guilt worm it’s way into the humans’ hearts. “Woah, hey, nobody’s hurting or killing anyone.” Dream’s eyes snapped to the one with the sword. The one with the accent. “Why would you think that? Is that why you’re...afraid of us?” George looked up at the giant with big eyes, following the giants a panicked gaze to his sword and then to Sapnap’s axe. Realization finally clicked and he tucked it away, urging Sapnap to do the same. “Wha—George!” He whined. “Sapnap,” George warned. “But, I really think that—“ “Sappitus. Nappitus.” He was met with a groan before the other finally out his axe away, raising his hands and walking a bit further away to sit on a rock, murmuring under his breath. “Don’t worry about him,” George offered a small smile up at the giant, heart warming a bit at the tentative smile he got in return. “He’s just really protective of his friends. But you’re not going to hurt us. Are you?” Dream quickly shook his head. “No, and, uh, if you let me leave—“ “No.” George backtracked at the look on the giant’s face, and he shivered as a gust of wind blew into the cave and chilled his still-soaked body. “No, no, I just mean that we should all stay. You were here first, but me and Sap wont be safe if we leave either. Maybe we can work something out? I’m George, by the way.” He ignored the way his heart hammered as Dream hesitantly leaned closer, or tried to anyway. He still took an instinctive step back, and he could see something akin to recognition flashed in those big green eyes. “You’re scared of me too.” Dream breathed, the warmth washing over George. It took everything in him not to back away from the giant more as the breath gently ruffled his hair. He gave a slow nod, waiting for the giant’s reaction.
Would he realize that he could simply get rid of them? But... no, Dream just offered a small smile to the human and a soft, considering hum. “Uh, obviously.” Sapnap had stood up from where he was sitting, watching the scene carefully. “You’re kind of huge, dude. That’s why I didn’t want to put my axe away.” The three of them dissolved into a conversation, hesitantly at first and then getting a bit more comfortable as they worked out the details of their time in the cave. They came to the decision that they’d all stay for the night and then part ways, and they’d light a fire to warm up the drenched humans. “Wait, wait,” Dream was saying, choking back laughter as he shifted a bit closer to the humans by the fire. They were comfortable enough around each other now, but he still moved slowly, cautiously. “You guys were bashing me for being afraid of humans, who could kill me if they tried, but Georgie here is scared of thunder?” “Exactly!” Sapnap’s grin was wide as he laughed. “And he wonders why I teased him for it.” “Shut up!” George groaned, rolling his eyes. “I’m not scared of thunder. And even if I was, like, it’s loud and lightning can hit you.” The three bickered for a bit before they fell asleep. And if the humans came back after the storm had cleared? Well, no one needed to know that, did they?

The area exploded into motion as even the giant formerly trying to diffuse the situation, his target, swung his hand instinctively toward the hunter as he felt the sting of a blade. It was a knee-jerk reaction, one that the demon wasn’t proud of. He missed the human, but his fingers pinched around the bag he was wearing, dragging the human into the air with a startled yelp.
Dream squirmed, feeling a sense of paralytic fear as he locked his gaze with those white eyes again. He felt trapped, mind frantically whirring as it tried to figure out a way out of this. His eyes flashed to the straps of his pack he was wearing, which were digging into his shoulder painfully.
And then he took a breath and quickly dropped himself out of it, hitting the ground and doing his best to disperse his weight with a roll. He still landed a bit awkwardly, his ankle uncomfortably throbbing as he stumbled forward.
Realizing that running wasn’t currently much of an option, he came to the conclusion that he was going to have to fight his way out of this. Unfortunately, most of his potions were in his pack, which he’d left in the giant’s fingers. His heart twisted a bit as the giant let go of it in favor of turning his attention to Dream.
Right. And there were two other angry giants that were after him he had to worry about too. He reached down to his belt, grabbing the splash potions that were hanging there. There were, coincidentally, three that were all harming potions. In a smooth motion, he tossed the at the hands that were reaching for him. The shattering of glass filled the air, followed by several noises of pain.
He took the opportunity to run forward, slicing at the flesh of the arms that he could reach. He barely cast a glance over his shoulder as the two shifted their weight, trying to push himself and go just a little faster despite his ankle, which was surely spelling. Maybe he could get to a higher point, take advantage in the fight somehow and get away from this unscathed. Maybe--
His thoughts were derailed as a pale hand blocked his path, making him whip his head around with a startled shout, seeing his reflection in Clout goggles. The sight of his tattered cloak was enough to make him pause for a fraction of a second, but it was already too much.
Weight closed around his middle, making his arms dig into his ribs as he was picked up by the one with the bandana. The grip was uncomfortably and painfully right and rough, and Dream struggled to pull in breaths through his panic. His sword was still in an iron-grip in his hand, but it was such that he shouldn’t move it at all, and it wasn’t helpful in its current position.
“So what do we do with him?” The one holding him asked gruffly, and holy shit Dream could feel the vibrations of the voice through the hand. His heart hammered against his ribcage and he’d be shocked if the giant couldn’t feel it.
“Sapnap,” the nasally voice was back again--Bad, was it?-- and it was close, “you’re using your scary voice.”
“Bad, he was here to kill us!”
“Well we didn’t die!” Bad pointed out, and he turned to the other giant, who was still rubbing at where he’d been cut as well as where the potion had hit before. “George, come on, what do you think?”
“Bad... I agree with Sapnap.” He sighed, and Dream let out a pained gasp as the hand around him tightened a bit, he wasn’t sure why. Surprise, maybe? “ I know your big heart is usually in the right Bad, but he did attack all of us.”
Silence stretched for an agonizing few moments before the giant holding Dream spoke again. “That’s 2 to 1, sorry, Bad.” Dream, was shifted slightly, and he could feel that his ribs would bruise if he survived this as he was brought a bit higher into the air. “We gotta do something about him.”
And then, in another brilliant moment of panic and instinct, Dream decided he didn’t want to leave his fate in the hands of these giants. He bit into the hand around him, the hand tensing reflexively around him before loosening just enough for him to shift his sword. And stab it deeply into the hand around him.
And then he was falling, colliding heavily with a knee and hearing more than feeling his shoulder dislocate with a sickening pop. And then he hit the forest floor on his back, winded. But there was no time to dwell on any of the pain he felt, using the surprise of the scenario in order to get away, vanishing into the foliage soon after.
It was only when he was out of earshot of the giants that the adrenaline in his system slowly began to fade, his arm that he usually used to fight with useless, for all intents and purposes. His left hand went to his belt next, freezing as he realized it was empty. Dread pooled in his stomach again and he scrambled to make a shoddy crafting table and a barely put together stone axe to wield in his other hand.
He limped slowly through the tall and darkening forest, feeling jittery again as he settled down in a cave, shivering in the night air and he fought to stay awake and safe.
He knew those giants were going to be pissed, and they’d easily overpower him like this. He wished, not for the first time that day, that he’d been more prepared. He didn’t know how to reset his arm either, and that was probably going to get him killed. Dream rested his head against the stone cave wall with a sigh, watching the last of the sunlight fade from outside.
He didn’t feel good about his odds.
