the past few weeks have been nothing but CHAOTIC. i started handling my momβs finance and itβs just non-stop moving! the logistics! the people i have to meet! the house! so for the first time in weeks, J and i woke up at 8am to do laundry. we had coffee and breakfast, chatted a little bit with my mom, then headed to the mall to buy my room a closet and some home stuff. we cleaned the third floor after and cleaning! is just so! refreshing! aaaah. it has been raining all day, so now we are camping on third floor, watching first love.
the scene where takeru satoh ran to the laundromat and waited for hikari m. to wake up is my favorite. quiet love is so underrated, no? we mostly see passionate, aggressive love in movies (e.g. cheating) β the danger, the lust, the spontaneity of it all. but quiet love β quiet love is the real deal. slow mornings when you two have coffee and do chores quietly, just being in a room together doing nothing but are contented, enjoying the sound of the rain β these are the things that matter but rarely portrayed in movies.
so!! watch first love!! will probably continue binge-watching first love the rest of the night.

today has been very nice. i took the bus to this one hidden local coffee shop that's near my house. it feels very homey here. today, i finished things that i didn't get to do yesterday and i also memorised 61-100 in french. i love how that in french in order to say numbers you have to somehow add and multiply and you know you're adding or multiplying based on the number that's written. it's very confusing!
