I’m certain a lot of fans have already thought of something similar when they saw the crumbling statue. Allow me to have my incomprehensible old man moment, though. The statue reminded me of the time when Toriel embraced the player at the end of Ruins.

Have you seen/played a game called Slay the Princess? If so there's a route in the game called "The Spectre" which is veryyyyyy chans coded and I think you would be very interested in it

Honestly? I do not know much of it besides it being a beloved game. With some light reading, I did see the potential and it actually sparked something in me to draw Chara as the ghost princess. (Though perhaps you were thinking sans to be more fitting?)
