"don't move-" you mumble sleepily head resting on his chest as rays of sunlight illuminate your face.

"honey- the sun is setting, we should get going" he says, nudging your shoulder lightly. In all honesty Minghao feels bad for waking you up, but you really need to go now.

"5 more mins...." you protest, voice barely audible.

"honey... c'mon, just open those pretty eyes of yours, for me?" he pleads, as he watches your eyelids flutter open. and he'll never get tired of the feeling, the feeling of watching your beautiful eyes open as they meet his above.

"what time is it.." you wake up looking around, sun melting into the sea, bright hues of pink, red, and orange visible.

"5pm darling, let's go.." he gently says, eyes focused on your half dazed expression. you slowly get up from his comforting chest, already missing the warmth.

and by the time you fully return to consciousness he's already done folding the picnic blanket, placing it into the basket carefully. your eyes trace his beautiful silhouette and when he's done he returns to you with a smile. picnic basket in one hand and your hand in the other.

he loves when you are watching/reading something new and thats all you can talk about for one week. he loves the adorable spark in your eyes when you ramble for hours about a character you particularly like/dislike.

"oh yeah, and he had the audacity to say-" you rambled, as he watched you from beside smiling proudly. no, he didn't get a single clue about what you were saying but they way you spoke about it with stars practically in your eyes was enough. he didn't have to understand.

"mhm.. thats crazy, how could he?" wonwoo remarked, simply playing along with whatever you have been talking about. it must've been the new manga that he bought for you after you mentioned about how much you wanted a new one.

"yeah right? literal red flag-" you go on, no stop to your words. and he just listens patiently, he loves this. he loves the hoodie you put on today, he loves your pretty face, loves your voice, he really could be content with doing this for the rest of his life.

and he listens, he listens till you get tired and your eyes subconsciously close, head resting on his shoulder. he smiles softly, looking at you as if you hanged up the stars. and in his humble opinion, you did.
