I am firmly of the belief that unless the joker’s dead, and that he dies by jason’s hand (or bruce’s but..), reconciliation with the batfam and specifically bruce is not on the table

Smh I kinda feel sorry for Jason, his conflict makes him sandwiched between DC’s 2 most overexposed cash cows, Batman and The Joker, so he will never get what he wants unless he completely changes himself.

He will never be allowed to hunt down The Joker and kill him for good or even just torture him a little, simply because he’s the cash cow of DC’s villains, so Jason is destined to forever be tormented by him but never the other way around.

He will also never have Bruce do what he wants him to do or compromise himself for Jason simply because he’s the cash cow of DC’s superheroes, so Jason has to be the one to compromise himself for him, hence why DC is trying to turn him into a hero recently because that’s the only thing they can do with his character since he’s only a “sidekick” and sidekicks aren’t allowed to defeat their superiors or change them.

So now he’s stuck in this never-ending cycle of being beaten by both them (unless he bows down to Bruce and becomes a full-fledged member of the Batfam again) everytime he encounter them, but never besting either of them at any point in time for no other reason than the fact that they’re The Joker and Batman while he’s just an ex-sidekick.

I want Jason refusing to help the batfamily. Jason, who's picked up what little bit is left of his life after coming to the understanding that the love and care of most of the bats is entirely conditional, and moved away from Gotham to fully start healing. He doesn't have to contact them, and not having to appeal to their grandiose sense of morality makes his healing so much easier. It's messy still, but he finds that he's happy when he's away from the bats.
