Two years ago, I was totally bummed out because the AHS Coven RP group I had been part of for the past six months was falling apart. The only reason I stuck around there as long as I did was because I had grown so attached to my precious lil trash witch and couldn’t bear the thought of leaving the group and therefore letting Fiona go. One of my friends there was moving her character to indie RP and suggested I bring Fiona along and join her. I had no idea what indie RP meant, or that such a thing even existed. Because it meant that I could still keep writing Fiona, I followed along. I chose the world’s most basic url (fionaxgoode), put up the world’s most basic theme, still used giant gifs and had no concept of icons, followed the few AHS blogs I could find and posted the absolute worst starters you’ve ever seen. Turns out a couple of the blogs I followed were really, really A++ human beings. They helped me figure out what I was doing, gave me pointers and assisted me in not making a total idiot of myself from then on. It’s hard for me to believe that I’m still here today—different url, kick-ass theme, but still here on the same blog—and that I’ve been able to keep Fiona alive this long. Many of you know that I’ve gone through a lot in the time since I’ve been here, and it is safe to say that without Fiona and without support from several of you, I would not have made it through sane and whole. I appreciate everyone who follows this blog more than I could ever truly put into words. If you’re reading this, thank you for being here. Love, Carrie
