Love Confession + Everybody Knows/Mistaken for Couple 

You’re a tactical consultant, often coming in for particularly tricky heists around neutral systems and complicated local treaties

The 501st jokes you could sell a bridge to Palpatine himself if you talked long enough

You once talked a local tribal leader who had captured Anakin, not only to let him go, but to give the 501st passage through their land and as many supplies as they could carry

Bottom line, you’re very good at your job, and Rex can’t help but admire it

More than admire it really

You’re extremely intelligent, witty, kind, and treat himself as his brothers with respect as individuals

You, meanwhile, can’t help but admire him in return

He’s loyal, brave, resourceful, and respects your authoirty and opinion despite not being a Jedi or a clone

Whenever there is any down time between battles you’re often seen together, talking about tatics, life, or anything that comes to mind

Fives quickly catches on to how Rex acts around you and vice versa

He tells the rest of the squad who immediately start speculating

It’s Kix who finally suggest that the pair of you are together and everyone else jumps on board

Fives then tells Ahsoka, who tells Anakin, who tells Obi Wan and so on and so on

Eventually it feels like the entire GAR thinks you guys are a couple

You two are blissfully unaware of this, but accept the excuses to be alone together as everyone conveniently exits the room around the same time

Anakin even goes so far as to ask you for missions you’re not really needed for

(He understands it’s hard to be away from someone you love and so sympathies)

Eventually though, it gets a little too suspicious for Rex and he confronts Fives about it

Fives tells him, “Look Captain, I know you want to keep it a low profile with Y/N, but we all know about you.”

Rex is immediately confused and eventually Fives realizes his mistake

Rex is mortified, but after Fives lays it all out for him, how he always smiles whenever you enter a room, how you always check on him first after a mission, how you stay close to each other during battle, it all becomes clear; he loves you, and there is a very good chance you love him too; now what is he going to do about it

The next time you see each other, Rex can hardly look you in the eye

He’s essentially having an existentialist crisis, having no idea how to act around you because while he’s certain about his own feelings, he doesn’t want to presume yours

You guys go out on you mission, everything goes smoothly, until it doesn’t

Your negociation falls apart at the seems as the Seperatist make their grand entrance

A fire fight breaks out and in the middle of the chaos, you get shot

It’s all a blur from there as all you can make out is Rex screaming your name and calling for Kix to get you out of there

The last thing you see is Rex leaning over you, as he cups you cheeks and begs you to keep your eyes open before it all goes dark

You wake up to the white of the medical bay

Rex is by your side in a moment, looking as if he hasn’t slept in days

He starts babbling, going on about how close he was to loosing you, how Fives was right, he couldn’t last without you

He keeps on going until those three words just slip out, “I love you”

You stop him then, cupping his cheek before pulling him into a gentle kiss

You only stop when you here a cheer from the other side of the room were Kix, Fives, Jesse, Hardcase, Anakin, and Ahsoka are standing looking a mix between embarrassed and ecstatic

Cuddles

Rex x Fem!Jedi!Reader

Summary: You are extremely affectionate with everyone but Rex and even though the Captain knows why it bothers him, he refuses to acknowledge his feelings 

Warnings: Mentions of injuries, mentions of sex

It wasn’t unusual for the Jedi to send additional healers on dangerous or very long missions. Nor was it unusual for said healers to be Jedi, not only could their force sensitivity help them locate, and to a certain degree heal, even the toughest injuries, they could also help out in battle when needed. And so no one was surprised when you were send along with the 501st on a mission to the outer rim.

“Have you seen General Skywalker? I have a few questions regarding his plans for tomorrow”, Rex asked Ahsoka. 

The Padawan looked up from her datapad to point down the corridor. 

“I think he wanted a quiet place to work.” 

The way Ahsoka said the word made Rex second guess whether the General was actually working or talking to his not-so-secret wife. And even though he didn’t want to interrupt him, he knew how important time with loved ones was the night before a big battle, he really needed his questions answered. 

“Thanks.” 

Ahsoka smiled at him before turning back to her datapad.

Rex opened and closed a few doors in vain. 

Finally he opened the last door of the long corridor and found the General sitting on a blanket he had laid on the floor. But he was not alone. 

Rex was surprised that Anakin actually seemed to be working, he had a datapad in his hand and another laying next to him, but that wasn’t what caught the Captain’s attention. 

You were with the General. Your head was in Anakin’s lap and one of his hands was stroking your hair, which had gotten loose from your bun and was now covering part of your face. Your closed eyes and deep breaths told Rex that you were fast asleep. But instead of thinking how relaxed you looked when sleeping, when for once you didn’t have the weight of protecting the galaxy on your shoulders, he felt as if someone had just shot him right in the chest. 

“Rex, is something the matter?” 

The Captain tore his eyes away from you to look at Anakin. He tried his best to be professional, not to let a blush rise to his cheeks or his feelings show. 

“I have a few questions about tomorrow.” 

Anakin nodded. Although both men spoke in quiet voices and the General moved only slightly you began to stir and opened your eyes a moment later. 

Being a trained Jedi it took you less than a second to remember where you were and who you were with. Slowly you sat up and looked from Rex to Anakin and back again. 

“Hello, Captain”, you said with a soft smile. 

And no matter how hard he tried, heat now crept up to his cheeks. 

“I am sorry for waking you.” 

You shook your head, still smiling. 

“Nonsense, I shouldn’t have fallen asleep anyway.” 

You looked at Anakin again, who had been watching your interaction with great interest. 

“I’ll leave you two alone and get back to work then.” 

The Jedi nodded, a smile now gracing his lips as well. 

Never in his life had Rex felt as out of place as he did in that very moment. This was a private interaction and he had no business witnessing the smiles the two of you gave each other, nor the loving expression in your eyes. But he couldn’t tear his eyes away, not even when you pressed a gentle kiss to Anakin’s cheek before grabbing the second datapad from the floor. 

Rex stepped out of the door to let you pass, careful to put a bit of space between your bodies. But even the few feet between you didn’t stop him from smelling your sweet perfume. Where Jedi could get perfume in the middle of a war was beyond him, but he had come to love every whiff of the scent he got. Though now, more than ever, he knew he shouldn’t. He knew you weren’t his and would never be. 

“I’ll see you around, Rex”, you said. And for a moment, just for a short moment, Rex thought you might reach out to him. He braced himself for the touch, but it never came. Instead you smiled before closing the door behind you. 

Usually he tried his best to be respectful to General Skywalker and any other Jedi, but he couldn’t help himself. 

“Does she know about Senator Amidala?” 

Anakin got up from his spot on the floor and looked at Rex with raised eyebrows. 

“I’m not sure what you’re referring to.” 

Try as he might, Rex couldn’t keep the anger out of his tone. 

“Does (Y/N) - I mean General (Y/L/N), of course - does she know you are married to Senator Amidala?” 

Anakin stepped closer to Rex. The Captain couldn’t quite read his expression. 

“(Y/N)”, he said your name in a way that made it very clear he had noticed Rex’s slip earlier. “Does not know about Padmé.” 

“Do you think it’s fair then, to lead her on like this?” 

The Jedi looked at Rex for a moment before answering. 

“I am not leading her on, I wouldn’t do that. (Y/N) is a friend, she knows it as well as I do.” 

Relief flooded over Rex. He had to admit, it wasn’t like General Skywalker to lead someone on, and much less like him to cheat on his wife, but to see the two of you so close made him question everything he though he knew about your relationship. 

“Rex, I hope you know that you can be honest with me about… well, you and (Y/N).” 

The blond took a step back, then another, until his back hit the wall behind him. 

“I don’t know what you’re implying. There is no me and (Y/N) - General (Y/L/N), I mean.” 

Even though Rex tried to sound convincing a smirk played on Anakin’s lips. 

“Of course, Captain. Of course.”

Returning a Favor (Zemo x Reader fic)

TFATWS Ep. 4 Spoilers!!

Summary: When your old friend, Sam Wilson, needs your help in Riga you drop everything and go. You knew they broke Baron Helmut Zemo out of jail, but you didn’t expect to bond with the villain. (AKA: I thought getting hit in the face by the Shield would at least leave a bruise. Here’s how that would go down with a fourth person.)

CW: Blood, wounds, some creepy behavior (not from Zemo), a few Y/N inserts

No smut yet, just cute cuddles and taking care of each other. Maybe smut in the future though! Let me know if you want a Part 2 or added to a tag list for potential future fics! I think the reader can be any gender; I tried to write it that way and be inclusive, but please tell me if I messed up!

Meet me in Riga. -S

That was the text you received from Sam Wilson, your old military friend, yesterday. And now here you are, outside the Riga airport walking toward Sam in traditional undercover superhero attire- a baseball hat and sunglasses.

“Thanks for coming,” he greeted. “We have a little problem.”

“Is his name Baron Helmut Zemo by chance?” You asked, following him to a jet black sports car.

You were very aware of just what type of trouble Sam was getting himself into since you, a SWORD agent, still had access to all kinds of classified information.

“See for yourself,” Sam muttered, gesturing to the back door of the car and climbing in the driver’s seat himself.

A/N: look I’m confused too 😂 but I’ve found myself a tad obsessed with Zemo the last couple of weeks, and this just kinda happened. I don’t know if there’ll be a big audience for this, but if anyone has any Zemo requests, send them on in and I’d be excited to give them a go! Also, since Sokovian isn’t a real language, I went with a tiny bit of google translated Latvian as a substitute!

Sam and Bucky had asked you to keep an eye on Zemo while they went back inside to grab some weapons before you guys left for the docks. You were missing the warmth of the party now you were outside. The night air was biting at your skin as you stood outside Sharon’s place. The skimpy dress she’d told you to wear to fit in with the crowd was fine while you were inside, but now you were out in the night, it wasn’t so great.

You tried to muscle through it, but the occasional shiver wracked through your body, prompting you to quietly hiss at the cold.

Evidently, Zemo noticed.

“Would you like my coat?” He offered, starting to shrug the coat off his shoulders

“No, thank you, Zemo.” You shook your head and held a hand up before crossing it over your chest in an attempt to conserve some warmth.

“Please, call me Helmut.” He drawled, and you looked at him in disbelief for a split second before composing yourself.

“I think I’ll stick with Zemo.” You pursed your lips and looked away.
