Saw the Moonpaw page on the WC Website and YES she's not plain gray with blue eyes. AND she has Heterochromia??? Holy crap. She has two different eye colors. That's amazing. She's so pretty. I need to draw an updated design for her based on her new appearance!

Also she is Bayshine and Thriftear's daughter. Which I was definitely shocked by. I seriously did think that she was going to be a NightSun kit, I was fully invested in that being true. I'm being proved wrong! Hopefully we'll get more Bayshine and Thriftear screen time with their new status as "protagonist's parents"?

This makes me wonder if Nightheart and Sunbeam didn't have kits. Which would be great. But if they do and they're just not protagonists that's fine too.

Mapleshade redesign...kinda.

So. I've always imagined Mapleshade having split facial markings (half ginger half black). So like, when Moonpaw was revealed to have the same exact facial markings I was like "lol dude she looks just like my Mapleshade design!" Can not believe this.

Soooo Mapleshade is now a Chimera and not a Tortie. Her face scar is from Frecklewish and her chest scars are from Perchpaw.

Lol, that's definitely not what I was trying to do w/ Moonpaw. The "voice" in her head are her intrusive thoughts, which I suffer with personally. She doesn't wanna kill cats actually and really hates hearing those thoughts in her head. She might get angry at a certain cat and her intrusive thoughts tell her to kill them, which make her heavily distressed. It's kind of like what Lionblaze was going through in Tpot, if that makes sense?

The closest "mental illness" I think Moonpaw would have is Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which makes her not very good at socialization.
