I just finished watching the finale. This show has emotionally connected with me like nothing i have ever watched before. It breaks my heart to see it end but makes my heart swell with strength and an idea of where i want to go in my life. I wish i could meet Rebecca Sugar and the crew and thank them for helping me when i didnt know i needed it. This show will forever hold a place in my heart. I cant wait to see what else she will create.

I’ve just never been so emotionally connected to a show before, steven universe really came to me when I most needed it and turned my life around. The past few years of watching this show have literally shaped who I am today and the version of me that exists right now would have never existed if it weren’t for this one cartoon that was so unapologetically kind and compassionate and full of love. It’s offered me healing in ways that nothing else has. I love you so much SU. This experience is going to stick with me forever.
