I could probably think of more examples if I wanted, but my point is this: Sometimes "fandom negativity" is necessary. Without people pointing out things like misogyny, racism, etc., we'd never see any improvement at all. By speaking about these things, we as fans tell BioWare that we are invested in their products enough that we care about seeing it get better.
