comparing the karamazovs to the kardashians is not only hilarious but also ridiculously accurate. bc tell me why fyodor got drunk & talked shit about alyosha and ivans mother, made alyosha cry and made ivan angry for the first time in the story because he STRAIGHTUP FORGOT THAT SHE WAS IVANS MOTHER TOO. then mitya bursts in screaming about grushenka and beats the shit out of fyodor and even poor grigory, alyosha snaps out of his crying sesh to tell mitya to gtfo; fyodor confesses to alyosha that he's more frightened of ivan than of mitya (??) Then alyosha goes to mityas fiancee to break up with her on mityas behalf and finds her making out with grushenka, which is of course immediately followed by A Scene, and when alyosha leaves mitya jumps on him yelling YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE and immediately afterwards confesses that he was about to kill himself. what is going on
